The Sun moves into Pisces tomorrow, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 6:32 AM EST. Not only will the Sun be in Pisces, but Neptune, Chiron and the South Node will be in Pisces as well. Those who are in the first decan of the mutable signs (Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius) will 'probably' be challenged more by the Sun moving into Pisces that the second and third decans.

A decan or decanate is a division of each of the signs into three equal segments of 10 degrees each. So essentially each sign is divided up into thirds. Your Sun will be between 0 - 10 degrees, 11 - 20 degrees or 21 degrees - 29 degrees 59 minutes 59 seconds because the next second ticked would put you into the next Sun Sign at 00 degrees.

The mutable signs who have a 00 - 10 degrees Sun in their natal chart will likely feel this Pisces energy the most, in a challenging way, especially those who have their Sun in Pisces at 03 degrees. This will be those who have birthday within a day or on the day of February 21st because your Solar Return has a piece of this pie as well. The South Node in Pisces has been at 03 degrees since January 12, 2017 and will last until March 28, 2017 where it will then enter the 02 degree mark. This slow Retrograde of the nodes will continue on until May 9, 2017 where the South Node will then enter Aquarius and the North Node will then enter Leo. The nodes are ALWAYS in opposite Sun Signs.

Keep in mind the South Node is ALWAYS Retrograde so it is always moving backward in degrees. The South Node stays in a sign for right at about 1-1/2 years. The South Node began its transit in Pisces back November 12, 2015 and lasts until May 9, 2017. So it has been a long road for Pisces since they have been hosting the South Node since November 2015. Since every planetary, cosmic, luminary and asteroid movement has a 30 degree transit, this means that the South Node began its transit at 30 degrees and now that it is at 03 degrees nearing the end. So on May 9, 2017 the South Node in Pisces will be complete and the South Node will then enter Aquarius and the North Node (its opposite) will enter Leo for 1-1/2 years.

Since the South Node is at 03 degrees and the Sun will begin its transit in Pisces on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 00 degrees, then by Tuesday, February 21st, the Sun in Pisces will have traveled to 03 degrees and the South Node will still be at 03 degrees. The Sun is a heavy massive of energy that will roll toward the hole, the drain, the bottomless pit (South Node) and drop right into it. PLOP! This can make it a truly draining time for those mutable signs who have any planets in Pisces in the first decan (0 to 10 degrees) and especially at 03 degrees. In the sign of Pisces this would make those planets conjunct thereby intensifying the energy of the planets involved. Any planets in Gemini or Sagittarius planets at or in the vicinity of 03 degrees would create a square thereby challenging the planets involved making Life a living hell. And any Virgo planets would be in opposition to this energy making it either the perfect balance or an all out tug-of-war.

If you are wondering, President Trump's Sun in Gemini is at 22 degrees, so he is a third decanate Gemini. This energy isn't going to really bother his Natal Chart or his 2016 Solar Return, but what it will do is make Pisces season very rough on him because the South Node was in Pisces at 03 degrees on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2017, even though Inauguration Day overall looks great for him, even kinda lucky in the midst of that awful Jupiter opposing Uranus aspect. But even if someone else would have won the election, that opposition would still be present. It doesn't matter who was in office. I said the other day, somewhere in a social media post, that Pisces season was going to be pretty much hell on President Trump and this Sun - South Node connection is the reason. Not to mention on March 2, 2017 will be that second pass of really rotten opposing energy between Jupiter and Uranus. His worst week thus far was back during December 21 - 26, 2016 which we may not have known what that was about, yet. Well since Jupiter has turned Retrograde, then we get a repeat of that energy. This is where something may come out. Secrets will just fall out of other people's mouths. While it would be easy to guess this would be about him (President Trump), keep in mind that he has an excellent birth date for being President, especially when you compare it to be overwhelming challenges of squares in his opponents chart between her Scorpio and Leo planets. His Solar Return and his Inauguration Day chart was really quite remarkable, except for the Jupiter opposing Uranus aspect and the South Node in Pisces. He pretty much holds a royal flush of energy on a bad day, so it will be interesting to see how this energy plays out.

Neptune is at 11 degrees right now and Chiron is at 23 degrees. Even though the degrees are not in the first decan, the energy is still Pisces, this can cause us to 'Bond over Woundology' with someone else, which can show up more as 'poor me syndrome' and a 'pity party' more than sharing. Oh geez, I can't stand 'Woundology Bonding' where two people sit down and roll up their sleeves to show their battle scars and share ugly stories of past relationships. Ewwwwwww! (said in my valley girl voice) At the same time, those who have been feeling depressed or who have clinical depression or who mental health issues may find this energy more challenging than you expected. While Pisces energy is monk-mode, this could cause you to fall into a depressive state, so the best option is to play up the Virgo North Node which rules physical health. Take your monk-mode behavior into a moving meditation.

The really healthy part of this energy that it is incredibly intuitive, mediumistic and psychic. I have a South Node Pisces in my chart and this is where that bottomless pit of intuition comes from where I cannot shut it off. Everything means something, but sometimes I can be too deep for my own Good. This is where I can go really deep (like the Ocean), while someone else is still in their human thought process in a boat on the water. I go very deep this time of year.

For those of you like me who have a South Node Pisces in their natal chart, then YOU MUST focus very very very very hard on your North Node Virgo. The North Node is in Virgo right now since it is the counterpart (opposite) of the South Node Pisces. North Node Virgo people HAVE TO get out of the house. It would be way too easy for me to stay inside, in my office, with the door shut, blinds drawn, curtains closed and the TV off, with no sound or communication. North Node Virgo HAS TO get out of the house. For those of you on my Facebook page you will see me posting 'out and about' a lot during the Pisces Sun because I cannot allow it to drain me. I have to get out and be with my North Node Virgo. I ALWAYS rejoin the gym for a month or two during Pisces season. We have a full gym downstairs, but I have to get out of the house. So this helps me to move my fins and swim through Life instead of remaining in one place and possibly swimming in circles. So if you have a South Node Pisces, North Node Virgo in your chart, then GET OUT OF THE HOUSE and go join the gym this month. That is the first thing on my agenda tomorrow morning is to go back to the gym. I will probably keep going to the gym until the South Node Pisces leaves on May 9, 2017. Folks, you have to do whatever you have to do to make certain draining energy does not touch you. It's either I do that or I go on vacation for a month. Actually whenever the Sun is in your South Node, that is exactly when you should go on vacation and do nothing. I will opt for the gym to keep my fins moving and my gills breathing.

Folks, the more you are aware of this energy, the more you can get through it without losing yourself, falling into a depression or just flipping your fins and getting nowhere. I've become a professional at Pisces season so I just go right into doing what I do. Now do you see why I was hell-bent on getting way ahead on my work and putting myself in a position to keep busy creatively. I have set myself up for success.
