LEO WEDNESDAY - OCTOBER 1, 2008

This Scorpio Moon naturally squares (challenges) your sign so if you are having any difficulties at home, then you need channel this energy into your 'home'work until you get hold of yourself. Work around the home on projects will take a load off your mind. This Scorpio energy can be quiet and reserved until you are ready to pounce. This energy should not be used to sting or injure anyone but to deliver a sting that will be remembered long from now without serious injury to the spirit. This should be a wonderful passionate sting that doesn't leave your prey saying, "OUCH" . . but it should leave them saying "ouch" with a bit of sexiness in their voice. Oh you know what I mean. The "ouch" you leave should have you both purring like kittens nuzzling up to one another.

I've been talking with you about Pluto (destruction, reconstruction, transformation) for quite some time. Pluto may be a dwarf planet but wow-wee it's packed with energy and power. Actually, Pluto is like packing 500 lbs. of plutonium in a 5 lb. bag. No kidding! Pluto is that potent. Interestingly enough, plutonium was named after Pluto and not vice versa. Folks, it's time to pull out your Natal Chart and look to see which house your natal Pluto sits. In my Natal Chart I have Pluto in Virgo in my 3rd house of communication. Virgo rules healthcare and Pluto is transformational. Pluto breaks down and destroys only to reconstruct and build back up which in turn IS THE transformational process. So here I am with this healthcare website communicating to the masses and using that jam packed 5 lb. bag to communicate the transformation process to others. Those of us with Pluto in Virgo (those born between 1956 and 1971) have a strange underlying desire to transform the world through health or being in-service to others. If I wrote your Natal Chart then I wrote which sign your Pluto is in and which house it sits.

Now let's look at where Pluto is today. Pluto has been in Sagittarius since 1995 until 2008. In fact, it already moved into Capricorn earlier this year but retrograded back into Sagittarius this past June. While Pluto was in Sagittarius, we must remember what Sagittarius rules. Sagittarius rules the 9th house of global affairs, religion, philosophy, foreign culture and ideology. Out of all of that we were introduced to terrorism, religious and cultural wars on a whole new level.

Pluto changes signs on November 26, 2008 and will move into Capricorn from 2008 until 2023. In fact, Pluto in Sagittarius is on approach and in the final degrees before it settles into Capricorn for nearly 16 years. Capricorn represents the achiever, the ladder climber, discipline and authority. It rules the 10th house of government, military, status in the community and rank in society. We can already see the transformation preparing to take place as citizens are fed up! Suddenly the economy has every rank in society waiting in line for gas and worried about their rank. The Mercedes is behind the Corolla and the Corolla is behind the Jeep. Let's not forget that Capricorn is THE MOST materialistic sign of the zodiac contrary to popular belief. Capricorn is typically more concerned about materialism than the spiritual or emotional side of life. Now don't start e-mailing me all of you Capricorn's and tell me how spiritual you are. I'm not saying you aren't . . I'm just telling it like it is. Hey, I happen to have a Capricorn Moon, I know about practicality and telling it like it is! Everything will be different now from how we handle our property, to what we believe is worth our hard earned money. Wearing jewelry, carrying designer handbags, living in big homes and driving cars that our salary obviously can't afford will no longer be cool. It'll be cooler to have cash in the pocket than credit cards. Credit cards will only represent debt! Further, the only Good check is a cashed check. If you want to get a firm grasp on what will be changing with respect to Pluto in Capricorn, then just read the Capricorn Rulerships here and just watch the transformation unfold. It appears some status conscious individuals have already gotten checked with Pluto inching closer toward Capricorn. Back during the summer I wrote about these economic problems on their way. If you laid your groundwork and you have not overdone it, then the transformation will be easier for you. The interesting thing is that Capricorn rules management and everyone will finally have to learn how to self-manage. Those big houses and nice cars will more than likely represent debt and not the status symbol they once were. We are all going to become more practical people when it comes to living, which has been a long time coming. I'm starting to really feel blessed that I live in the City, live in a 425 foot square space, have very few belongings to my name, ride a bicycle for transportation and have managed to maintain my personal freedom.

LEO THURSDAY - OCTOBER 2, 2008

Watch your roar Leo because you could be snarling at someone in the home environment today. Regardless of anyone's suggestions, it may be your way or the highway. Keep in mind that when you turn bossy, demanding and arrogant it DOES NOT work in your favor. And it couldn't be more unattractive for you. OUCHY! You can ALWAYS get your way by being charming, playful and purring, even with those in the home.

Tonight the only Vice-Presidential debate takes place about 5 minutes away from where I live in my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. In other words, its walking distance. The neighborhood is buzzing with excitement and the media is just out of this world. Folks, you just wouldn't believe it! Now let's keep in mind a few astrologic things as we watch this debate. Politics is one of the best ways to watch astrology. If you can remove your emotions and watch the patterns of astrology take shape then you will become a better astrologer. In other words, watch the debate without judgment because that's what makes a really great astrologer when you remove your ego and emotions. Consider the following:

Sen. Biden's South Node is in Aquarius
Gov. Palin is an Aquarius
The North Node is currently moving through Aquarius

Today the Moon in Scorpio squares the South Node Leo
Scorpio and Leo are natural squares to each other too
Sen. Biden has 9 total Grand Squares
Tonight there are two Grand Squares taking place

Sen. Biden has Mercury in Libra
Gov. Palin has Mercury in Aquarius

Sen. Biden has a Moon in Aries
Gov. Palin has a Moon in Aquarius

Gov. Palin has 5 planets in Aquarius
Gov. Palin Sun is in Aquarius
Again, Sen. Biden has a South Node in Aquarius

On a different astrologic note --- Some people will notice in their Natal Chart that they have two house cusps with the same Sun Sign and another two houses with the same Sun Sign. This is called an "interception" and it appears as though two sun signs are missing. Folks, we all have all 12 signs in our Natal Chart even it appears as though two sun signs are missing. With an interception, there are two sun signs that show up half way through a house so it throws the house cusps off. It's not a bad thing, it's just the way it is. If you have one house intercepted then the opposite house would be intercepted as well, therein lies the two others signs that 'appear' to be missing. That makes two interceptions total. Just look in the periphery of the chart wheel so you can see all the symbols rather than just looking at the house cusps. It's very common and nothing to panic over because everyone ALWAYS has all twelve signs show up in the Natal Chart. Inteceptions can make it look like you are missing two signs when you are not, which is like having two signs that "fall through the cracks". When you have a sign "fall through the cracks" (an interception) then it's as if these two signs (the interceptions) can't really hurt you. In other words, they are a non-issue. I have Scorpio as one of my interceptions in the 5th house, so on the opposite side of the chart wheel I will find the Taurus glyph in the middle of my 11th house. These two signs (Scorpio and Taurus) are basically 'non-issues' for me. In other words, Scorpio and Taurus can't really hurt me. Notice that Scorpio and Taurus are also opposing signs. That's the way interceptions go. The glyph for the seemingly missing signs are between two house cusps. And if you have two house cusps that are the same on one side of your Natal Chart then on the other side of your Natal Chart will be two houses with the Sun Sign that is opposite of the other two. And the two 'seemingly' missings signs will show up half way between two other house cusps. They are there, you just have to slow down and look for them. Ahhhhh . . the Universe always seeks to balance itself out and does so quite nicely.

First thing you should have noticed when you clicked on today's horoscope is that the Moon is Void of Course until 11:15 AM EDT and then moves into Sagittarius. Delays, detours and the unexpected will happen during this time so don't freak out if things don't run on time. That's the nature of a Void of Course Moon.

The Sagittarius Moon is putting you in a playful mood and you may be chasing down fun like there's no tomorrow. There's a fire lit under your pants and this serves your sunny shining self very well.
