DAILY PRAYER For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying. Father, I have been experiencing an extremely stressful time in my Life. I find myself in a melodramatic and over-exaggerated display of emotions. Sometimes I say too much and others times I do not say enough. I do have Faith in You and Your Divine Guidance and I have no idea why I choose to continue to react in such a sensational reactive manner. I suppose it is because I feel afraid, alone and I don't know what to do. I know You are with me Father and I consciously choose to embrace a higher state of awareness that includes You. I AM listening Father. I AM listening for You to tell me the next step to take. Father, I ask you to increase my Faith, discipline and resolve so that when I encounter difficult circumstances, my spirit is calmed. I AM certain that You have my best interests under Your Divine Control, Influence, Power and Love. I am knocking. I am seeking. I am asking you to help me. Through Jesus Christ's Precious Blood and Most Holy Face I ask you to release me from this stressful situation. Amen~
DAILY SCRIPTURE A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke Luke 4:31-37 31 Jesus then went down to Capernaum, a town of Galilee. He taught them on the sabbath, 32 and they were astonished at His teaching because He spoke with authority. 33 In the synagogue there was a man with the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out in a loud voice, 34 "Ha! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!" 35 Jesus rebuked him and said, "Be quiet! Come out of him!" Then the demon threw the man down in front of them and came out of him without doing him any harm. 36 They were all amazed and said to one another, "What is there about His word? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out." 37 And news of Him spread everywhere in the surrounding region.
