What is a Natal Chart?
Daily Horoscopes are calculated by interpretating the relationship (aspect) of one transiting planet to another transiting planet. Think of 'transiting' as if you order something from Amazon and it is 'in route' on a UPS truck, or a USPS mail truck, or its on a cargo ship or it's on a container on a train. It is TRANSITING on the truck, ship or container. When a planet is in a sign, the planet is 'transiting' that sign. When one transiting planet makes a contact with another transiting planet, then it is making a geometrical angle to it, which we call an 'aspect' (trine, sextile, square, opposition, conjunction).
I could say Pluto is transiting Capricorn, but I'll just say, "Pluto in Capricorn". I could say the Uranus is transiting Aries, but I'll just say, "Uranus in Aries". I could say Neptune is transiting Pisces, but I'll just say, "Neptune in Pisces". So a planet in a sign is TRANSITING it. A planet making an angle to another planet is ASPECTING. Got it?
Simply put: An aspect is a mathematical, geometrical and angular relationship between planets. In other words, the planets will form a relationship with one another just like people do. Some of these planetary relationships are antagonists and some are synergists, just like human relationships. All of the planets are placed on a 360° wheel and then the angular relationship is calculated between any two of them. It's either Good chemistry or challenging chemistry. Good chemistry is obviously Good and challenging chemistry has the potential to be Good if you use it to learn, grow and develop.
You will find in the Natal Charts that I write that I have incorporated those aspects which will have solutions to the challenges, conflicts or obstacles from some of the other aspects.
If you have an aspect that is pointing to the answer, then by all means follow up with the clue that is given. The clue may come in the form of: patience, aggressiveness, compassion, goals, creativity, etc.
When I write of an 'orb of influence' this means that the planets are within 04°, 08°, or 10° from one another. When two planets are within a certain or less degrees from one another, depending on the aspect, they will form an aspect as if they are in complete alignment. The 8° 'ORB' or less is the standard 'ORB' that most astrologers will use. Most astrologers also agree that the Sun and Moon 'orb' may be as much as 04° - 12°.
