Is it Ur-ran-us or Ur-anus? Actually, both are acceptable pronounciations, but I say Ur-ran-us simply because Ur-anus sounds gross.

Uranus in Gemini - July 7, 2025 until May 22, 2033. Uranus will retrograde on September 6, 2025 and then back into Taurus on November 8, 2025 until April 26, 2026 where it turn 'Direct' and will then re-enter Gemini until May 22, 2033.

Uranus is known in the astrological community as The Great Awakener, The Rebel Rouser, and The Tilted Planet.

The Uranus glyph represents the cross of matter confined at both sides where matter is being forced up from the bottom circle of spirit. Wherever Uranus shows up, it will force change in your Life. Let's look at the graphic below and think about that first line again because it is important.

Notice the cross in the middle. The cross of matter. Matter is that which is physical substance, which is different from the mind and spirit. Matter is being confined from both sides pressing on it, almost like it is being squeezed, as if two walls were coming closer together and closing in on 'matter' thereby confining the space of matter. It's almost as if 'the matter' is being squeezed out or erased.

Often times Uranus will give you the feeling of being squeezed out or erased from something only to squirt you into a different direction. Sometimes being squeezed out is exactly what you need. Did you know that Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius? Uranus was only discovered in 1781, so if Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius, what ruled Aquarius before 1781 because we know Astrology has been around practically forever! Saturn is the ancient ruler of Aquarius, while Uranus is the modern day ruler of Aquarius. And did you know that Uranus is the father of Saturn, while Saturn is the father of Jupiter. That's a little Greek and Roman mythology for ya'. Uranus is also the only planet named after a Greek god instead of a Roman god, like Saturn and Jupiter. So, contrary to popular belief, Uranus was not named after Uranium. It was Uranium that was named after Uranus.

Let's trek back for a brief moment and contemplate what occurred over the past seven (7) years in our Life when Uranus first entered Taurus on May 15, 2018. Think of where you felt this squeeze on yourself. Uranus was in the sign of Taurus, which is the sign of self-worth, that translates into net-worth, earned income, personal money, personal possessions, as well as our morals and values. Was there a feeling of being erased in the Taurus area of your chart only to come out at the other end different or new or complete or emptied or changed?

Well, Uranus LOVES to change things, because change is Uranus's jam. Uranus spins things and whips them into a NEW AND IMPROVED state of matter. Remember again what the squeezing effects of Uranus in Taurus did FOR YOU. It should be 'for you' and not 'to you'. Uranus in Taurus had the focus on your self-worth, as well as your net-worth. Since Uranus naturally rules Aquarius, which is the natural ruler of groups and masses, then it stands to reason that Uranus governs societies, it rules governing boards, meaning those who sit and make decisions for and about others (eeeek), denominations, memberships, clubs, organizations and any group based on humanitarian or progressive ideals.

Uranus, being the ruler of electricity, is also the planet of sudden and unexpected changes (like Lightning). Socially speaking, Uranus rules radical ideas and the people who have those radical ideas, as well as any revolutionary events that upset the establishment.

Back in 1781 when Uranus was discovered, this was time period of the Romantic movement, which had everything to do with artistic, literary, musical and intellectual thoughts, talents, skills and interests.

The Romantic movement also emphasized freedom of expression, individuality and creativity. No one likes there freedom quite like Uranus. "Don't tell me what to be or how to spin! Uranus is also the planet of innovations, inventions and inventors. Out of The Great Depression came several great inventions such as; the electric razor, the car radio, the tampon, the chocolate chip cookie, the first copy machine, the first supermarket and the board game 'Monopoly'. Can you imagine, sitting around during those days and thinking up this game? This is the kind of energy that Uranus brings. My parents both have Uranus in Gemini in their natal charts, imagine all of the inventions and innovations that this generation of people has seen over the course of their lifetimes. It is truly astonishing!

Now that you understand why Uranus is so unique, unusual and strange, and the time period in history when Uranus was discovered, then maybe now it will be easier to turn your thoughts inward and think about how Uranus impacts you personally. It is also important to note that Uranus is a 'generational planet' meaning due to its long orbit around the Sun (7 to 8 years) it affects an entire generation of people. Uranus isn't like one of the personal planets, like the Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars that are closest to the earth and affect us the most and most often. Generational planets affect us over a long period of time and as a huge group of people.

Since Uranus is one of the 'outer planets' then think of the outer planets as affecting us from the outside in, not the inside out. Since this Gemini energy impacts you somewhere in your chart, then it is VERY important to understand how Gemini operates. Let's contemplate what Gemini rules so we can grasp the broader picture of what Uranus in Gemini means for us.

This Gemini has to do with your style of communication, manner in which you learn, transportation and travel within your own locale, state or country. Gemini rules basic learning and education grades 1 through 12. For this reason, it is a rare experience to hear a Gemini throw around $50 words. Gemini's keep the conversation simple and will enter into $50 word banter when it is appropriate or when Gemini needs to adjust to verbiage to the company they keep. Gemini adjusts their wording to their audience at the time.

If you saw the movie, "Contact" there were many references to Ockham's Razor. Dang I wish I knew Ockham's birthdate! I would Love to know if he was a Gemini.

This is the usual example I typically share when talking about how Gemini communicates --> I was at a holiday party and was asked about acupuncture and how it works. To the small circle I was engaged with, I proceeded to explain acupuncture in typical Gemini simplistic form using my 'fork in spagetti' and 'log in a creek' examples to explain electrical current, the body's response, and why there is no blood. After explaining, those who were listening had 'an understanding' look on their face. Another doctor (an Aquarius) standing a few feet away (overhearing) quickly slid over, leaned in, and chimed-in with the more technical definition of electrical current, myofibrils, and muscle contraction, which left the small audience of listeners bewildered. See! That's what ego does to some people. Gemini keeps it simple.

A Gemini does not overstate the obvious, but our counterpart (opposite sign) Sagittarius will build you a clock if you ask them what time it is. Gemini has a 'less is more' mentality, while Sagittarius has a 'more is better' mentality.

If I am in a situation where I need to rattle off neuro-feedback loops and use $50 words, then I can go ahead and dance that number, but why if those listening don't understand neuro-feedback loops. Why get into myofibrils, which are the structures of muscle fibers? Ugggh! Should I have mentioned sarcomeres too? I don't think so.

I am Gemini, this is why my writings use simpler terms to explain Astrology (like now) instead of using terminology that falls on deaf ears. Gemini will just tell you what you what to know instead of dressing it up with the perfect phrasing. Gemini will typically use phrases like - ain't got no, don't know nobody, etc.

I will often repeat my teachings time and time again so that over a period of time, the information lands on your brain and you learn. I'm looking for you to leave this site more knowledgeable than you arrived. That's my intention, my goal and my desire.

Gemini is definitely not looking for trouble or a hard time. Gemini will take the easy train every dang time because why take the long way? Or the hard way for that matter? Gemini is the sign of simplicity, logic, reasoning, street smarts and common sense.

For instance, Capricorn will take the long, arduous, one-step-at-a-time route up three (3) flights of stairs, whereas Gemini will skip several steps and run while doing it or they will just take the elevator? As a Gemini, I always say my daily motto is, "Easily and effortlessly NOW!" Not tomorrow or later, but right NOW!

I also say the reason why I am so organized is because I'm just too damn lazy to look for my keys. There is no way I would use my precious time searching for keys, or my purse, or my phone. I just don't dig on that kind of chaotic living or logic. As a Gemini, how that could disorganization even be a choice for someone? But that's me, Gemini!

In fact, the best gift to give a Gemini is one that has pockets, drawers, compartments or something that represents organization. THEY LOVE THAT STUFF!

Gemini energy wants easy, not hard, so staying organized is the KEY to simple and abundant living. SIMPLE AND ABUNDANT, NO DRAMA! Gemini is all about EASY, EFFORTLESS and NOW so they can go faster and go more places. Gemini is logical, rational and it has to make sense in order for Gemini to embrace it. Check your charts! Where in your chart do you have this desire for simplicity and efficiency rather than making things hard.

When we put two and two together on the things that Gemini rules such as; our style of communication, manner in which we learn, our transportation and how we travel within our own locale, state or country. You can see that Gemini energy is a mover and a shaker. Zippity-doo-dah, taking names and making contact. This is why Gemini rules marketing, public relations, sales, selling, traveling sales and getting the word out.

Like him, loathe him or Love him, PRESIDENT Trump (a fellow Gemini) said the reason why he liked Twitter (X) so much is because he wants to get the word out FIRST. That's a Gemini for ya', to beat the newspapers to the punch. Newspapers don't rule the Gemini, it's the Gemini that rules the newspapers. That's one Gemini who will NOT allow other communication sources (media) to control him, even if his Twitter (X) ran amuck, but look what happened, that Gemini (meaning DJT) created his own social media platform to get the word out 'Truth Social'. He also uses the words 'common sense' ALL THE TIME. It's Gemini.

Folks, watch how Gemini's communicate because it is absolutely deliberate, on purpose and fully intended to get the most bang for their buck. Every word is carefully chosen, plotted and directed. Gemini meant to say it, type it and relay it.

Some of you might remember the ol' tag line for E. F. Hutton - "When E. F. Hutton talks, people listen." That's Gemini!!! When Gemini talks, people listen. When Sagittarius talks, if they go on and on and on, lecturing instead of speaking, then people will back away and not listen at all. Over-talking does not make a great communicator. Listening is just as much a part of communicating. The Sagittarius horsey (Centaur) opposite sign will tweak their ears, which reminds them to listen.

As a Gemini, I do NOT use FB or any social media AS MY WEBSITE. Most people do, which puts FB in complete control of what you post, as well as they are in charge of your analytics, audience and reach. For myself, instead I use FB and other social media to lead people to my website. I turn it completely around. IT'S COMMON SENSE! When I post on FB, I post links to my website.

Someone once asked why I don't post my full write-ups on FB and now you can see why I do not? It might save you a step, but it would cost me my business? If social media has your business and you don't, you've been HAD! By all means, use social media, but stop using social media platforms as your entire website and being DEPENDENT on them.

The Gemini way is to USE MEDIA more than they use you. Social media is FREE ADVERTISING! IT'S FREE!!! Gemini rules advertising and marketing, so use social media that way.

Gemini will show you every single time how they control the ability to get the word out. Check your chart. How well are you using and in control of your Gemini energy?

Gemini rules broadcasts, newspapers, media, billboards, books, computers, editors, handwriting, writing, messengers, messaging and messages. Gemini also rules body language and handwriting analysis, of which I (a Gemini) have been massively trained in both to expert level.

Having said all of that, nothing will piss off a Gemini more than a lack of communication, or rude, or lazy communication. It's like someone who walks and drags their heels, scooching along. OH MY GOSH! Pick up your dang feet!!!

If you can't communicate or won't communicate, Gemini will give you a chance (actually two chances, it's a duality thing) and then they will likely just stop communicating altogether because Gemini does not waste their time, nor will they waste time on something that is hard. If you are making communication hard, Gemini will let go and you will be trying to communicate with them. It all gets turned around. Easy for them became hard for you.

We see PRESIENT Trump do this all the time. It's hysterical. He knows who to trust, even if you don't think so. He is known for putting people in the spotLight for exposure. He knows whoever or whatever he speaks about, the opposition will automatically counter him and research it to death and the people end up finding out themselves and say, "Ah ha!". If he just said someone was wrong, he wouldn't be believed, but when people feel like they expose the exposure, they will finally believe.

Gemini is taking notes as they are the secretary, messenger, stenographer, notetaker and court reporter of the zodiac. Gemini knows who talks, who listens and who to trust. Gemini heard what you said when you were unloading about ol' so-and-so and Gemini was taking notes and knows full well that they could be next on your gossiping betrayal disloyal hit list.

If you are really special, then Gemini may give you a third chance, but that would be super-rare. No callbacks, no response, then wave to Gemini good-bye.

Gemini does not like phone calls or texts ignored, or unanswered RSVPs. That's a certain way to get yourself removed from future invites. I have shared many times how I count invites that respond with maybe or I'll try as flatout NO. People that do not commit are NO'S. You can respond with, "When you know for sure, let me know and I will mark you down as 'yes'." Besides, who can cook for those who are respond with maybe or I'll try.

If communication is too much of a big deal for you, not a problem, Gemini will stop, shift gears and move on in another direction without batting an eye. See ya! Gemini will consider that you do not value the communication and just move on. Gemini is all about the 'exchange of communication' and 'exchange of information'. It takes two people to communicate and Gemini knows this.

So as you move forward with Uranus in Gemini, think of this in terms of communication, transportation and how you get the word out, market yourself, promote yourself and make your way around to all the bases throughout your day (transportation). Gemini is all about sales, promotion and marketing, and it uses communication devices and whatever transportation it needs to get the job done.

Gemini's are definitely Good listeners as you can see the cogwheels churning while you are speaking. They might even lean their Good ear toward you. While you are talking, Gemini will scan the room and take-in what everyone else is saying 'through their body language'. They take-in everything being said, whether it is verbal or non-verbal through body language. They heard it, saw it and read it. PRESIDENT Trump does this all the time, he scans the room to see who is listening and who is not. He is mentally taking notes. Gemini also rules 'psychology' and the game of 'find mucking' aka 'mind f-cking'. If you don't like him, then you probably cannot see these listening traits, because you will just see what you want to see.

At the same time, President Trump has a North Node Gemini and a South Node Sagittarius. That South Node Sagittarius suffers from hoof-in-the-mouth syndrome and he is no different. Open mouth, insert hoof. And he has his Moon in Sagittarius sitting on top of his South Node in Sagittarius with just 24 minutes of separation revealling is both an expert listener and over-talker.

Uranus in Gemini will strike hard and fast, like Lightning. No take-backs. SNAP!

And finally, do your best NOT to use Uranus in Gemini as a regurgitator. Repeating as in teaching is a Good thing, but regurgitating what you heard reveals a lack of thought (thinking). After all, the Gemini motto is - "I think therefore I am" aka "Cogito, ergo sum."
