JUPITER TRINE SATURN
This aspect shows an easy flow of energy and is generally considered favorable. You will mostly experience trines as talents and advantages. However, trines can also show areas which are the line of least resistance. This means that you may be letting these talents slip by unnoticed and that you are lacking motivation.
It is important to understand that Jupiter is ambitious, excited, adventurous and enthusiastic. Jupiter also has a religious and/or philosophic presence to it, which brings about some sort of social work on a grand or global scale. Saturn is very serious and does things in a practical and disciplined way. It has a military, government and authoritarian presence to it. Saturn stabilizes and controls its environment through discipline, hard work and responsibility.
There is no doubt about it, Jupiter and Saturn are the perfect dichotomy between the expander and the restricter. While Jupiter could expand on itself like a balloon until it pops and blows itself to smithereens (or floats away under its own power), Saturn is the great stabilizer who holds everything under complete control.
There is an easy blend of enthusiasm and self control that is just right, not allowing oneself to be overly restricted or overly expanded. This is a very fortunate aspect to have, as long as it is not taken for granted. This energy must be used wisely, and when it is used wisely, great success in life will be gained. This aspect says, "'Tis better to gain success, than weight."
This aspect reveals a serious purpose to one's life, which may have been influenced by a family tradition. Although this aspect is somewhat materialistic, with a hefty desire for the finer things in life, there is a lack of motivation and drive to attain them. This is because the aspect is a bit too easy, where one tends to keep landing on their feet and never really being hurt by mistakes or bad decisions. Saturn swoops in to do damage control. There is a tendency to seek and find easy ways of doing everything. Whatever success one is meant to achieve is apt to come in the latter part of life simply because lessons are being learned earlier in life.
There is a bad habit of comparing oneself unfavorable to others rather than realizing their own self-worth.
This aspect is farsighted (Jupiter influence) and quite capable of carrying a heavy workload or responsibilities. There is favortism in government affairs or some sort of public life. The public reputation is important to gain and maintain with this aspect.
