On Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 7:01 AM EST the North and South Node made their move into Sagittarius and Gemini until August 29, 2012 at 10:05 PM EST. Remember, the Nodes ALWAYS move Retrograde and are ALWAYS opposite signs, so that means the North Node moved out of Capricorn and into Sagittarius and the South Node moved out of Cancer and into Gemini. Capricorn and Cancer are opposite signs and Sagittarius and Gemini are opposite signs. Now if you've been coming to my website long enough, then you know that I put a very heavy emphasis on the Nodes. If other astrologers don't use these vital points, that's fine but I do simply because they are major areas of influence for success to take shape in our Life. Basically, the North Node is where your cup runneth over and the South Node is the bottomless pit or drain. When you put energy into the North Node, you simply cannot fail. If you put your energy in the South Node it will become a drain and you can't possibly fill up a bottomless pit. It's impossible! The South Node is like having a hole in your pocket, so anytime you put something into that pocket it will fall right through and there is no plug. So natally speaking, the South Node in your natal chart is the hole in your chart! Now folks, I'm a Gemini, so YOU KNOW I'm going to be hammering at this transit for a year and a half driving my point home. Whenever the South Node rolls over your Sun Sign (in this case it's rolling over all Gemini's) then Life can be a real challenge . . but alas . . wait just a dang minute . . didn't I just say above that if you focus on the North Node then you cannot fail? Didn't I just say that? (winky wink) At the same time, when the North Node rolls over your Sun Sign (in this case it's rolling over all Sagittarian's) then Life can bring opportunity after opportunity after opportunity. The North Node is the gift that keeps on giving. So why not focus on the North Node?

The first thing I do when the Nodes change signs is I look back and see what was going on in my Life the last time that particular nodal position was present. This gives me some idea of the type of energy I will be facing. Look up on the North and South Node Calendar for the last time the North Node was in Sagittarius and the South Node was in Gemini and recall what was going on in your Life at that time. Astrology follows patterns and when you can recognize the pattern, then you have something easier to work with and tailor to your Life.

There's no doubt, many people will be more freaked out and fearful about the bottomless pit and drain of the South Node in Gemini than they will choose to embrace and play UP the North Node in Sagittarius. That's certainly a choice because astrology recognizes that you have your God-given free will and you use it as you like. You can freely choose the negative or positive side of any planetary influence.

You can certainly expect mental health issues to come to the forefront during this time, not to mention issues like autism. This is because Gemini rules mental abilities, mental tendencies, mental disorders and mental telepathy. There is a new study out on autism and if children are born less than one year apart then the second child has a greater chance of having autism. I personally think this study is load of crap since I come from a generation of people who have siblings less than one year apart. In fact, I'm one of six children. The first five of us are all one year 'or less' apart and none of us have autism. The Scorpion King (my life partner) is one of five children who are less than one year apart and none of them have autism. I can rattle off a number of families I know like us and none of them have autism. I just had to say that because the study ticks me off. (winky wink) Anyway, watch for a lot of brain issues to pop up as well simply because Gemini is naturally ruled by Mercury, which rules the brain. Gemini rules lower education grades 1 thru 12 and Sagittarius rules higher education, which is colleges and universities or any continuing education beyond primary and secondary schooling (grades 1 thru 12).

We will also be seeing a lot of grammar, punctuation and nit-picking when it comes to communication. This is already being brought to Light with the shootings in Tuscon, Arizona where a gunman shot and killed 6 people, wounding many others as well as a Congresswoman. She was shot in the brain. The conversation now through the news is how our words matter and there is a responsibility behind them. Watch and listen for more of this kind of news because it will happen. Communication, education, mental abilities, mental telepathy, etc. Also keep in mind that Sagittarius rules the higher level of these things . . higher education, intuition, dreams, visions, etc. This is not to say that one sign is less than the other sign because it's not that way. What one sign represents, the opposite sign represents the same thing on a different plan. For instance, Taurus and the 2nd house rule personal money, Scorpio and 8th house rule joint resources, you and the spouse or partner.

I have already prepared myself for this Nodal transfer, especially since I am a Gemini. Not only have I focused even more on my health and daily regimen but my organized daily routine as well. Since the South Node is the challenge, then I need to make certain that I make it easier for 'me' to deal with 'me'. If a challenge comes my way during this period, then I've set myself up ahead of time (as best I can) to minimize the headaches that may arise. The Scorpion King and I have completely transformed my home office into the perfect working space to make my Life easy, flowing and efficient. This South Node in Gemini for me could easily come in the form of being so busy with my work that it needs to flow like a peaceful, flowing river and not a raging dangerous river. By the way, The Scorpion King is not only my Life partner but the Love of my Life as well! I'm setting up my Life to be very busy during this upcoming transfer of Nodal power so that I do not become a drain to myself or others for that matter. I'm taking care of the organizational Gemini South Node so that I can play UP the Sagittarius North Node, which rules goals, ambitions, dreams, visions, intuition, higher education, new experiences, adventures and the global community. Get yourself organized folks so you can play up the game you really want to play. Yep, we restructed, reorganized and recompartmentalized the Scorpion King's home office as well. RAH-HOOOOOO! ARE YOU READY TO RUUUUMMMMMMBBBBBLLE! There should be no office on the planet more snappy, organized and ready to rumble than the office of a Gemini. Rock freakin' ON!

The last time the South Node was in Gemini and the North Node was in Sagittarius, I just finished first 4 years of college (with two bachelor's degrees) and was preparing to enter my second 4 years in my doctorate education. Oh, it was a drain alright but I was one organized, detailed and regimented gal. Keep in mind Sagittarius rules higher education and that's exactly what I was doing. Sagittarius also rules travel and I was traveling as much as I could on weekends or during breaks because I still modeling at that time and still getting enough work to support myself and my daughter while solely putting her through an all-girl-college-prep-private-school and paying for my own education. I was tired, worn out and I just kept on going. I never had so little sleep in my Life! At the same time I was in the most ridiculous relationship that just wore me out and had me in tears every single day. And I mean every single day. Still, I stayed focus on my education because I was on that Sagittarius North Node like a flies on a cow pie! That was then . . this is now . . and during this next North Node Sagittarius that is global energy while the South Node Gemini is local energy, I will most certainly be playing UP the North Node Sagittarius and the area in my personal Natal Chart that is ruled by the sign Sagittarius!
