The Moon in Leo is opposing your 7th house of contractual relationships. This house also rules unions, lawsuits, contracts, partnerships, marriages, agreements, and open enemies with the public. This can be partnerships in business, marriage or a committed relationship that is a live-in arrangement. It also includes long-term associations, the animus (underlying passion or force), the relationship between soul and personality.

Well folks, sorry for the delay in Daily Horoscopes today. Those of you who are friends with me on Facebook know that the Scorpion King and I hosted my side of the family's Christmas party yesterday, so this morning was a massive clean-up effort of a trashed home, which was only evidence to us of a great time. I will continue on (even though it's later in the day) and use today's writing to give you a better understanding of how to use Astrology in your daily Life.

At the top of every 'Main' Sun Sign Horoscope page it says, "Astrology is not Law; God is the Law! Astrology is "the rules;" and the rules are often broken." So let's look at this on the physical plane under the guise of traffic laws. It doesn't matter who you are, if you have a driver's license, you are expected to understand and obey the rules, laws, regulations and even etiquette of the road. When the red light says, "Stop" you better damn well stop. The red light or stop sign is there for a reason and you are no exception because of who you think you are. If you do not abide by the rules of the road, then there is a strong possibility that you will either a) get a warning ticket b) get a ticket c) luck out and get neither d) scare the crap out of yourself or someone else e) cause an accident and injure no one, or worse yet f) cause an accident and injure yourself and/or others. The rules are there for a reason and you are no exception. Got it?

Astrology works the same way as the rules of the road. Each planet and each sign means something and it is up to you to obey the rules. The great thing about the Laws of Astrology is if you are aware and proceed according to the rules, the Universe does respond in kind. The Universe responds with reward and gentleness. So today the Moon is in Leo, which as we know from the first paragraph above is that Leo can be bossy, egotistical and demanding in a dramatic fashion. Go ahead, act out of this way and see how this energy works for you. But if you choose to move through your day as a leader by example, with child-like playfulness and a sunny disposition, chances are you are going to be received by those around you very well and the Universe will also respond to you in kind. As an Astrologer with my degrees grounded in the sciences I would like to share with you this little tid-bit of scientific fact. "No two opposing energies can hold the same space." It can't happen. You can't Love and hate in the same breath. You are either one or the other. Take your pick! You can't scream at someone and say, "You know I Love you" because the anger is simply not Love. It's anything but Love. It's anger! There is also this little scientific fact called, The Conservation of Energy -- "Energy cannot be created, nor can it be destroyed but it can change form." So again, take your pick! Change the form of your energy.

Every planet and every sign gives us a choice as to which form we will choose. You know how I'm always telling you to channel the energy into something productive? Well, that's precisely what I mean. If you take the actions of Pluto, which is explosive and volcanic to destroy the heart of someone else, then that is what you chose. Hmmmmm, not too attractive. Or you can 'wax on, wax off' and channel the explosive and volcanic energy into a project, task or clean-up effort. You can help someone else who has lesser means and lesser capability than you. In other words, there are many ways that you can channel the energy of Pluto but if you want to explode and then implode, go ahead. You can do that too. Take your pick!

So back to the quote -- "Astrology is not Law; God is the Law! Astrology is "the rules;" and the rules are often broken." When I'm writing horoscopes and giving you a scenario of how this energy can show up, then use your God-given talents, skills, gifts and means to channel the energy appropriately. Be appropriate! Oh I just Love that word -- APPROPRIATE! We all know what appropriate is, but will we do it? That's the bazillion dollar question mark. Astrology has rules, so follow them and the Universe will respond to you in kind. We all know people who have bad driving records or someone who does not have a driver's license due to inappropriate behavior behind the wheel. Even insurance companies respond to these driver's who cannot obey the rules of the road and they also respond in kind to those who do follow the rules of the road. Take your pick!

Astrology should never be used by Astrologers as a fear tactic, nor should not be embraced by Astrology students with a spirit of fear. It should be used as information, a guiding Light and a source for understanding yourself and the energy around you. Astrology is an interesting thing because those who follow the rules, seem to have a Lighter approach to Life and the Universe responds in kind. Everyone gets dealt a hand of cards and you 'get to' figure out how to play your hand. You will have some weaknesses but you will also have some very cool strengths. Play your hand folks and respond appropriately. Obey the laws! Channel your energy and change the form. Wax-on, Wax-off. DANG! I LOVE THIS STUFF!
