DR. STANDLEY'S ASTROLOGY BRAIN DUMP™ AUGUST 2016

My political write-ups are always meant to serve as a learning experience that you can use during your astrological observation. After all, the best way to learn astrology is through observing the patterns. Reading about astrology is one thing. Studying and memorization is another. But actually being able to apply and observe the information in this physical world is a whole other story. My political write-ups run the risk of pissing off a certain subset of individuals, but I cannot let that stop me from teaching astrology. I will tell you this about myself, I side with a political party, not necessarily a political candidate because of my core values. So before anyone stomps away emotionally charged, lets stick with what astrology is showing us about the two candidates and why either one of the candidates may resonate with us more than the other due to our own personal natal chart.

We have two absolutely perfect U.S. presidental candidates for seeing patterns of behavior, character and problems. As with any two U.S. presidential candidates, there are always very clear similarities. Donald Trump has a pattern of relationships, mega-global-business (power) accompanied by big business problems, and 'open mouth, insert hoof syndrome'. He tends to say too much. Hillary Clinton has a pattern of 'a certain relationship', powerful government positions, and scandals that come with investigations, congressional hearings and being questioned. She tends to say too little. These are patterns folks. Patterns are patterns and they do show up over and over again not just for these two individuals, they show up for ourselves as well. This write-up will be about Donald Trump and the next write-up will be about Hillary Clinton. My intent is to show you why these scenarios keep popping up for these two individuals. If you can stick with the astrology and you are all about the learning, then read on. If you are an individual who gets too emotionally caught up and stomps away mad, then stomp away from the website right now because my work and teachings will prove to be too much for you. Politics tend to make some people crazy (literally) or it makes them crazy (the ugliest form of angry).

Here goes . . . Donald Trump has a South Node Sagittarius with his Moon in Sagittarius that sits right on his South Node, this is what makes him so easily baited. It's like dangling a carrot or an apple in front of horse, they will take a bite. Most emotional people are easily baited anyway, but Donald Trump has that Moon sitting right on his South Node that causes his emotions to go straight down into that bottomless pit. This also explains why he cannot let go once his emotions have latched on. Down the rabbit hole he goes. Sagittarian energy talks, over-talks and then talks some more. When you ask a Sagittarius what time it is, instead of just answering the question and telling you what time it is, they will instead build you a clock.

The fact that Donald Trump has a Cancer Strong chart certainly helps him intuitively (gut instincts), but it doesn't help him emotionally. His Cancer energy just contributes more to his predictable reactions. I saw an interview with Matt Lauer where he asked Donald Trump if he had any weaknesses. Donald Trump said, "I really believe I have weaknesses," adding, "If I said then I'd expose the weaknesses to Putin and then everybody else and we don't want to do that, right?" One thing Donald Trump didn't realize was that his biggest weakness was his easily baited ego, which makes him easily pulled off track. Next thing ya' know Putin paid Trump a compliment and Trump ate it up. The carrot! The apple! The ego!

Before Trump even ran for president, I used to use one of his quotes all the time, "Since you have to think anyway, so why not think BIG!" I don't use it too much anymore in horoscopes because people are just too wound up. His BIG thinking not only comes from his Gemini Sun "I think therefore I am," it also comes from his larger than life persona with his Sun trine Jupiter and his higher-thinking mind is his South Node Sagittarius, which can get him into trouble. This has been seen in some of his business dealings where he went bigger than he should have under the subject matter of Sagittarius. Trump University was Sagittarius energy because Gemini rules lower education grades 1 - 12, while Sagittarius energy rules higher education being colleges and universities. Trump University was a hell-hole before it even started. And he probably will skate through the lawsuit simply because he has Jupiter in Libra trine his Sun. He's LUCKY! Keep in mind Jupiter moves into Libra on September 9, 2016 so he will be in his Jupiter Return. That means Jupiter returns to the same sign it was in when he was born.

Donald Trump's casino businesses did not work out probably because of his South Node Sagittarius. Jupiter is one of the ruling planets of casino's. Donald Trump has a hotel in Las Vegas but it is a casino-free and smoke-free hotel. I even called the hotel before I wrote this to make sure it was true that there was no casino or smoking in his hotel. It is written in many articles that he was turned down for a casino license, but that's easy to believe with a South Node Sagittarius. He's a Gemini, which rules the lungs. He is a non-smoker and despises smoking. He also does not drink alcohol.

Donald Trump's strong Cancer chart with Venus in Cancer reveals why nepotism runs so strong through his veins. Those with Venus in Cancer typically work for a family business or they will employ their family members in their own business.

Just yesterday I was listening to one of the political ranting shows and I heard Donald Trump making a case for 'if he lost' the election. I thought, "Wow, he is not only conceited, it sounds like he just conceded." You have to remember that Trump has Mercury in Cancer, which has its finger on the pulse of the public. This is why he can play on the fears of the public because Cancer is THE SECOND most fearful sign of the zodiac, next to Pisces which holds a very strong first place. Playing on the fears of the public will work for him. So he is helping the public imagine Hillary winning so his supporters can dig in deeper (the Cancer claws into the sand). He's very artful, no doubt about it . . The Art of the Deal!

Back to the Sagittarian influence and the South Node since today (as of this writing) there is a Moon in Sagittarius. Donald Trump is the epitome of, "Open mouth, insert foot" . . or should I say, "Open mouth, insert hoof!" The South Node Sagittarius is the classic, "Hoof in the mouth syndrome." The South Node Sagittarius is the Truth 'speaker', while the North Node Sagittarius is the Truth 'seeker'. Big difference! Donald Trump runs on emotion and over-speaks what he 'perceives' is the Truth. The Sagittarius motto is, "I perceive/see therefore I am." Remember folks, Sagittarius energy is all about your perception. Sagittarius is what you see and Sagittarius energy calls it as it sees it. What is your perception of the Truth, may not be others perception of the Truth, but Trump's truth rings true for many voters. Also, just because Sagittarius is honest and speaks the Truth does not give a license to say anything, especially if you have a South Node Sagittarius. We can see just how deep his never-ending bottomless pit (the South Node Sagittarius) has become during the past 4-1/2 months with Saturn in Sagittarius Retrograde (Rx). He has certainly found himself in a lot of even hotter water. Now Saturn in Sagittarius turns Direct on Saturday, August 13, 2016. It will be interesting to watch Donald Trump's gears shift as Saturn shifts gears and begins moving Direct.

This man's level of emotional baggage is deep regarding his upbringing with the South Node in Sagittarius and Moon conjunct (same sign) in his 4th house. Home life was incredibly heavy and draining for Donald Trump and was just a never-ending well of never being Good enough. Saturn in Sagittarius moving over Trump's 4th house is in its Detriment meaning, the 4th house is naturally ruled by the Moon, which is where he has his Moon. Saturn rules the opposite house of Cancer, which is Capricorn, and Capricorn is naturally ruled by Saturn. So you see, Saturn moving over his 4th house is in its detriment. Do you see why he is having such a hard time just shutting the hell up!

Donald Trump in his hay-day was known as being a ladies man and playing the field. He was at one time the most wanted married man and the most wanted single man. He enjoyed bragging about his relationship escapades and pretty much denies nothing. When he poked at Bill Clinton about his infidelities, the questioning came right back to Donald and about his own relationship shenanigans. Donald responded, "I wasn't President." When Donald Trump pointed out that Bill Clinton was impeached, he was questioned again about his own business dealings. Donald responded, "I broke no laws. I took advantage of the bankruptcy laws just like anyone else takes advantage of the bankruptcy laws." When Donald Trump pointed out that he has never smoked, he pointed out in Monica Lewinsky's testimony, in the Starr Report, what Bill Clinton did to her with his cigar. (I know, the ick factor is just awful in that last line.) All I'm saying is that South Node Sagittarius is EXTREMELY blunt, frank, boisterous, it's a windbag and it is loaded with talk that most people wouldn't dare say. You can expect a South Node Sagittarius to say just about anything, unapologetically.

I could go on and on and on about Donald Trump's chart and where other planets are affecting him today, along with his progressed planets. I will just leave it here and will pick up where I left on in my next write-up on him. For now, I want you to be able to just see his natal chart with clear astrology eyes.
