I choose 9:00 AM EDT because it's just what I choose. I also choose New York, NY as the location simply because I have to choose some place, so why not New York? I use Eastern Time because most people know their time zone in relation to Eastern Time. Keep in mind that you will see the Moon in Taurus under the first blue box below but yet above (in the 1st and 2nd paragraph) I say the Moon is in Gemini. I did that only to keep with the theme of the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Gemini. The Moon actually is in slow-poke Taurus until tonight but I know what we are really intereted in is this New Moon Solar Eclipse. (winky wink)

So before the Moon moves into Gemini tonight at 7:47 PM EDT at 00 degrees, the whole day will move pretty slowly and then the Moon will enter the Void of Course space in time because the Moon is moving from Taurus in to Gemini. Change is going to happen whether or not you like it and whether or not you are prepared. I like the prepared option myself but that's just me. I received a hefty dose of fearful calls yesterday. What is up with that folks? Come on . . if you are going to fear anything, then be more afraid of things staying the same, especially if you are in an uncomfortable state of being. Why in the world would you want things to stay the same? Don't you know by now that what you focus on e-x-p-a-n-d-s! You should be too afraid not to do it, whatever it is. You should be using fear to drive you forward, not hold you back. I write about this stuff all the time and this New Moon has nothing to do with fear. Okay it's nervous energy, it's anxious, it's hyperactive and it's kookie (I'll give you that much) but fear, oh hell no! That's just stuff you are making up and dramatizing, especially if you have a lot of drama in your chart (Leo or Pisces) or if you have a lot of fear in your chart (Pisces or Cancer) or if you have a lot of worry in your chart (Scorpio and Taurus). Those of you who have Gemini in your personal natal chart in the 12th house may be feeling fearful as well simply because this is the house that Pisces naturally rules. This 12th house scares a lot of people but this is the house of self-reflection and fixing yourself. Just because this 12th house rules jails, hospitals, monastaries, and institutions doesn't mean you will end up there. If you read closely about the 12th house it is a house where people spend time alone. In this house is where people have time to be alone and think about what happened or what they did. And remember all eclipses are snuggled up against a Node (North or South) and this one is snuggled up against the South Node. This is not the time to let yourself become a mental drain, as Gemini is the brainiac and mental sign of the zodiac.
