NEW MOON IN ARIES

A New Moon is when the Moon conjuncts the Sun. The New Moon in Aries is on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at exactly 9:57 PM EDT at 26 degrees 02 minutes. This actually is my all-time-favorite New Moon of the entire year. New Moon's are always about fresh starts and new beginnings, so when this New Moon is in the sign of Aries, it magnifies the energy because Aries is the first sign of the zodiac charging right out of the astrological gate to be first in line and crossing over the finish line first. To say this New Moon is competitive would be an understatement. Aries doesn't really even need competition from anyone else because Aries competes with itself for personal best. Aries is the first of firsts and the start of creation. Aries is the trail-blazer, the pioneer and the starter. Every team of any size and of any kind needs a starter who comes up with the ideas and puts them to action. It's like the starting pitcher on a baseball team. The starting pitcher does not have to finish the game, they just have to get the game going and in the right direction. THAT is Aries energy.

We have been under the square of Uranus and Pluto since the summer of 2010 so that is nothing new and profound. We have been in and out of 'exactness' with Uranus square Pluto for eight (8) years now. We should know this energy like the back of our hand. Even still, acting out in a crazy fanatical way thereby throwing you off your intended path could be a possiblity. Surely most of us have learned by now that crazy doesn't work for us. This is time for you to break that mold that you keep doing over and over again causing you to remain in the same place except on different day and different year. So while Pluto is making sweet Love to Jupiter, Pluto also has a 04° 45" orb (nearly 05 degree square) to the Moon and the Sun. That square is in 'separating' degrees, which means that aspect is pulling away from this Moon and the Sun, not approaching it and getting closer, which would be applying degrees. So folks, that square to New Moon by Pluto is NOT beginning (approaching) it is ending (separating). The Jupiter sextile Pluto aspect has our back. PRAY TO GOD AND ROW TO SHORE! Remember me saying that in the Saturday, April 14, 2018 Daily Horoscope? Go ahead! Look at today's chart wheel and you will see that 'Divine Intervention aka Divine Providence' is supporting us through this New Moon in Aries. So while you may read some fear associated with Pluto on other sites, I'm here to tell you that aspect (square to the Moon and the Sun) is pulling away in separating degrees giving you a feeling of being 'relieved or refreshed' that the aspect is leaving us. What I'm saying is, as far as Pluto goes, since it is pulling further away from the Sun and the Moon, the worst is already over with Pluto. THIS IS WHY you would feel 'relieved or refreshed' when a planetary aspect is in separating degrees. DO YOU GET ME?

Also, if you look closely at the chart wheel, Mars is at a 10 degree orb of 'separation' with the New Moon and is out of the orb of influence. Some astrologers might give this orb 10 degrees, but I give it an 08 degree orb. I don't stretch orbs to create DRAMA or induce FEAR! If this chart where written out, a square from Mars to the Moon or the Sun would not be in the text because the orb is too wide. So do not let the presence of Mars at a 10 degree separating orb scare you. Okay! What you should be noticing about Mars is that it is in a trine to Venus in Taurus. While neither Venus or Mars are making contact with this New Moon, the Mars sextile Neptune is still present until April 22, 2018 as well as Venus trine Mars until April 22, 2018. Just take a peek at these graphics above. I know some people have had a bad feeling about Mars because of what they read somewhere else but Mars is just not touching this New Moon and it is making beautiful aspects to Neptune and Venus, so I don't know where the hell the fear is coming from. GEEZ!

There are two other aspects who are holding court during this New Moon. One is Venus opposing Jupiter, which is the aspect of 'The Hedonist' and the other is Venus trine Pluto the aspect of 'Higher Love'. While Venus opposing Jupiter exaggerates its importance and simply lives for pleasure and extravagance. There is a pull between the drive to achieve and a need to enjoy yourself. This aspect will NOT be exact until Tuesday, April 17, 2018 but we will certainly feel it on the New Moon because it was already impacting us on April 11, 2018 in applying degrees and it will last until April 23, 2018. So you see, this aspect is very much occurring close to the New Moon in Aries. Further, Venus trine Pluto is the aspect that experiences Love at first sight. This is a spiritual connection with Love. This is an awesome aspect to have present with a New Moon in Aries, the beginning of all 'new beginnings'. This aspect also has personal finances attached to it since Venus rules self-worth, morals, values and our personal finances.
