The Libra Moon is moving through your 2nd house of value systems, physical possessions and money, personal self esteem and talents. Today we experience the New Moon in Libra at 8:06 PM EDT at 19 degrees 20 minutes. New Moon's are about fresh starts and new beginnings under the umbrella of the sign involved, in this case, Libra. Even though a New Moon impacts us for an entire year under the energy it represents, the most powerful 'orb of influence' will be today and over the next two weeks up until Monday, October 26, 2015. This energy will gradually wane as each day passes by, but the effects of the action taken under this 'fresh start' and 'new beginning' influence will last for an entire year. This New Moon in Libra has two hard aspects to it, which is the square to Pluto at 7:19 AM EDT as indicated under the aspect list below and then an opposition to Uranus at 6:20 PM EDT. Eeeeek! This opposition is very close to the New Moon in Libra that occurs at 8:06 PM EDT. In other words, its within striking distance. So is the square to Pluto in the AM hours but this strike from Uranus in Aries in opposition is a sudden impact and change in cirumstances. Dang, suddenly the wedding could be OFF! Okay now folks, I know there are a lot of people engaged and getting married in the Fall and this is a drastic occurrence but a strike from Uranus makes things happen drastically. Heck, some people might throw caution to the wind and hit City Hall and get married on a whim. It can really go drastically either way. The only thing is an opposition doesn't feel Good and neither does a square. So this leans more toward a hard-time, than a Good-time.

An opposition to Uranus means opposites. Libra and Aries are opposite signs (New Moon in Libra, Uranus in Aries). Think of Uranus as a lightning strike. It represents rebellion and a sudden change in circumstances. BAM! Lightning strikes! Aries is the sign of the 'me, myself and I' and Libra is the sign of 'we, us and our'. Me and we are facing off! Myself and us are facing off. I and our are facing off. Uranus is the intellect and the Moon is the emotions, so there is a face off between the intellect and the emotions where you may not trust your emotions or someone else's reasoning. This could show up as someone getting cold feet for a committment or wedding. You must balance your intellect with your emotions rather than jumping off the teeter-totter because you were scared and slamming the other person to the ground. Yeah, it's that kind of change in circumstance. This is definitely a conflict in matters of the heart.

REMEMBER-- New Moon's have the staying power for an entire year simply because the next New Moon in any given Sun Sign will not come around for another year. Sure, there will be another New Moon next month but that one will be in Scorpio, when the Sun is in Scorpio. Right now, the New Moon is in Libra and will not come around again October 2016. That's why you have to get your coupling act together NOW.

If you are single, then there could not be a better time to set yourself up and work on becoming the person you want to introduce to someone. If you don't have your act together, then you will only attract your own, which will be a reflection of yourself. That means if you don't have your act together, neither will your future partner.
