Mercury is preparing to turn Retrograde. This is the planet that most people will freak out about and blame EVERYTHING on during its retro transit. Those of you with a Mercury Retrograde in your Natal Chart should feel right at home during this transit because it is what you live every single day. It's the rest of us who have to sit up and pay attention. If you have been following your Monthly Horoscope then you already know that Mercury is preparing to turn Retrograde on Saturday, February 23, 2013. And if you have been following on the 2013 Retrograde Planetary Calendar link then you already knew this was coming. And if you were following the 2013 Major Planetary Events Calendar again, this should have been no surprise. Mercury is the planet of communication, transportation, communicating gadgetry, siblings, neighbors, mental abilities and sales. Mercury rules both Gemini and Virgo. I see Mercury as a maintenance planet. It is the perfect time to tend to maintenance things. In fact, our garbage disposal broke a few days ago and I asked the Scorpion King if he could get it fixed before today (Thurs. Feb. 21st). The reason why I wanted it fixed before today is because tomorrow the 22nd, Mercury will enter its Stationary Retrograde period where it stands still and shifts gears just before it heads backward in degrees. So, as it turned out we needed a new garbage disposal, he replaced it and that's one thing we won't have to concern ourselves with during Mercury Retrograde. You never want to buy any gadgetry, communication devices or transportation (cars) during Mercury Retrograde because there is a high probability of purchasing a lemon. For those in other countries, purchasing a lemon means buying something that will ultimately turn sour and not work.

Before Mercury turns Retrograde, that's when I back up my computer (which I do everyday anyway), clean up my system files and anything else I need to do computer wise. I need a new phone but I'll be waiting until Mercury turns Direct until I make that purchase. Mercury Retrograde is a wonderful time for cleaning up, organizing and refreshing your space with Feng Shui. A few days ago under the Gemini Moon I completely revamped, reorganized and raked out my office. Like any Gemini I need my library displayed proudly because we Gemini's are the librarian's, intellectuals and thinkers of the zodiac. "I think therefore I am." We have to have our library around us. I'm a few steps ahead of Mercury Retrograde at this point, which I hope will free up some space and time for these writing projects I have in the hopper. Mercury Retrograde always seems to be a great time for me to play catch-up on my writing and I don't even have Mercury Retrograde in my chart. I just play the card to my advantage. I make it work for me . . . and you should too.

Big favor folks and I would like your verbal input (phone call). I keep getting phone calls from individuals who ask where on my website can they order a Natal Chart. This really boggles my mind. On every single page of this site in the top right and left corners there are links for The Holistic Shop and on the left there is a description of what's in The Holistic Shop. At the top center of every single page, just under the www.DrStandley.com banner, there is a tan box with a link to my products and services. Then at the top of every single Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly and Generational Horoscope page there is a box with links to the chart and personal readings. I just don't get it. I really do not want to put big flashy sales banners on this site that are in your face. A pushy salesperson is not my style. I'm thinking I have the bases covered but it appears not. Folks, I do take your input to heart and when someone has a suggestion, I often incorporate it because I believe so much in the 'Cockroach Theory' that says, "Where there is one, there are many." So, if you have an idea on how I can make these links better known to cut down on these phone calls, I would appreciate it. You know I'm a phone girl rather than an e-mail girl, so I really don't mind phone calls but I'm thinking these links are blatant, so why the phone calls on something so strategically placed? How can anyone miss it? I don't get it. Suggestions? . . . I'm all ears. Phone calls on this please . . no e-mails, no Facebook posts or FB private message. I prefer the conversation. I'm still human regardless of technology. Thanks!
