This Full Moon has the theme of 'a sudden change for the better' accompanying it. Typically when there is a Full Moon you will see astrologers and astrology neophytes writing about how it's a time of release, a time to let go, a time to purge and a time to gather your old things and get rid of them once and for all. Yeah, yeah, yeah . . okay, it's a time of release, we get it! That kind of approach bores the hell out of me. Just sayin'. I rarely ever write about a Full Moon like that because Full Moon's are so bright and full of Light and they shine an obvious Light on the issue at hand. If you cannot see that Light shining on the issue at hand, then you have to be blind or so far into denial that you can't see clearly. Emotions are very FULL during a Full Moon because the Moon rules the emotions and moods and they are typically about whatever the subject matter is for the house that it is shining on for you.

This Neptune connection also brings in your past from the unconscious mind thereby affecting your decisions. It's like you have a little angel on your shoulder saying, "Remember when you did that last time and how that turned out?" Take this as a hit of your intuition because Neptune trine the Moon enhances intuition. Pay attention to your dreams as well, which includes your night-time dreams and your day-dreams (goals) because Neptune rules the dream state. The 'sudden change for the better' has to do with Uranus in Aries turning Direct today. Uranus in Aries has been Retrograde since July 17, 2013 and it turns Direct today. Looking at the Daily Astrology Chart for today you will see an "S" where Uranus in Aries is. Knowing that it is coming out of its Retrograde status, the "S" means it is Stationary Direct. It's just like when you are driving your car and you want to go back (Retrograde). You have to literally stop the car to shift gears and that would be Stationary Retrograde. Then reverse is Retrograde. When you want to go forward again, you have to stop the car once again in order to shift gears. That's what we call Stationary Direct. So that "S" you see today on Uranus in Aries means it is shifting gears today. It is literally 'stationary' (stopped) so it can shift gears and move forward. That change in direction coming off of Uranus creates the sudden change because Uranus is the planet of lightning and sudden change in circumstances. BAM! Pretty exciting! This lightning strike of Uranus will be a very Good turn of events for many of us, especially those of us who have been making self-corrections and stretching ourselves to do better. BAM, circumstances change!

The Full Moon last month occurred in Cancer's 11th house of friends, former Loves, groups, organization and your future hopes and wishes and the one before that was in your 10th house of career, public image and recognition, status and authority figures and the one before that was in your 9th house of adventure, legalities, in-laws, travel, higher learning and new experiences and the one before that was in your 8th house of the partner or spouse's money and support from other people. Seeeeeee, the Full Moon shines Light on the houses in chronological order. So this month it is shining Light on your 12th house of the keywords above in the very first paragraph. Next month it is going to be about your 1st house of the personality, appearance and the self.

I actually like to give Full Moons a 5-7 day orb of influence surrounding it on both sides. You may see other astrologers give it a 3-5 day orb of influence but I like to give it a bigger orb of influence to account for your intuition. The fact that Neptune, the planet of intuition and the past is trine to this Full Moon only increases my belief that it needs a bigger orb of influence to pay attention to its effects. When the Light shines so brilliantly on the house involved, (see first two paragraphs above) then you get a chance to right yourself in that area. You should be able to see where you are flubbing up and what needs to change. A LIGHT (pun intended) should go off in your head. BING!
