The Moon in Scorpio is opposing your 7th house of contractual relationships. This house also rules unions, lawsuits, contracts, partnerships, marriages, agreements, and open enemies with the public. This can be partnerships in business, marriage or a committed relationship that is a live-in arrangement. It also includes long-term associations, the animus (underlying passion or force), the relationship between soul and personality.

As stated yesterday, this Scorpio Moon is a fixed sign, which means it is difficult to sway. Now this is interesting because even though Scorpio is fixed and doesn't change easily from its position, it is the 'transformation' sign of the zodiac. Scorpio is also the most manipulative sign of the zodiac, which I call the "pretzel effect". Scorpio has the ability to take the worst situation and twist it like a pretzel into the best situation. Manipulation does not have to be a bad word, unless of course you use manipulation in a bad way. Manipulation is skillful and it is clever, which gives Scorpio the ability to wiggle out of some of the toughest situations imaginable. Scorpio is the sign that has the 'Midas Touch'. This is a very powerful placement when channeled appropriately because Scorpio is a money sign that rules OPM (other people's money) and support through other people's money.

Scorpio is the opposite sign of Taurus, which is also a money sign. While Taurus rules your personal money, your personal possessions and self-worth, Scorpio takes it to the opposite end of the spectrum, which is your money that comes through others. This is why Scorpio rules the spouse or partner's money, wills, beneficiaries, licensing fees, royalties, mortgage lenders, stocks, bonds, taxes, credit, refinancing, loans, etc. Do you see all the possibilities here? Bonuses can come to you through the employer or to you through your partner when they get a bonus. It's really all about money that comes to you through someone else that you didn't necessarily make on your own. You can even throw child support and settlements under this Scorpio influence.

Now what you need to do is look at the first two paragraphs for your Sun Sign and apply this knowledge regarding OPM (other people's money). Remember, Scorpio is transformative, which is also why it is represented by the Phoenix Rising, the sacred and mythical bird that rose from the ashes to be transformed and reborn. This why Scorpio also rules regeneration. There is probably no better time to gain a better awareness and association with money than when the Moon is in Scorpio. This sign has two motto's, "I desire therefore I am" and "I create therefore I am." Scorpio is an incredibly creative sign that results in the "pretzel effect". Love it, Love it, Love it! Personally, Scorpio's fascinate the heck out of me, which is why I am so drawn to them. It's no secret, my fiance' is a Scorpio, who I call, "The Scorpion King". Scorpio's ancient ruler is Mars, while it's modern day ruler is powerful and transformative Pluto. Scorpio is resourceful and productive and does not like to waste money. Resourceful is a Scorpio word because it means having the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties. Scripture says, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (I Corinthians 10:13) Scorpio is the perfect example of the area in your chart that gives you that way of escape through being creative and resourceful. Twist your situation like a pretzel!!!

Whenever this Scorpio Moon shows up, you have the ability to transform the area of your Life (see top two paragraphs above) into something completely different. Scorpio is an action sign, which means it takes action. Scorpio doesn't just sit there and hope something will happen. Scorpio strikes!!! Then you should also look to your Personal Natal Chart to see which house Scorpio rules and strike there! BAY-YAM! Scorpio is ALWAYS associated with money, ALWAYS! I don't care what house you are looking at in your chart, you have the ability to use the 'Pretzel Effect' in this house and make it all new and different. Scorpio is also the sign of sex, which can get into your head and throw you off your game. For instance, some people will allow the intensity of a strong sexual attraction to invade their wallet by buying gifts they cannot afford or not showing up for work. Scorpio has a super strong work ethic but sexual attraction is strong as well. As with anything else in Life, Scorpio gives you two sides of the pancake and both sides look different. Use this Scorpio energy wisely because much like Pisces, it is a great escape hatch. Remember from my previous writings, we are still under the 'orb of influence' of the New Moon in Virgo that occurred on Thursday, September 5, 2013 which means 'manifest destiny' and 'mind over matter'.
