Daily Horoscopes are written according to where the Moon is located.
For that reason you will see the Moon information 1st paragraph (below), the 2nd paragraph is the house that affects your Sign, and the 3rd paragraph is the horoscope itself based on the information of the 1st and 2nd paragraph.
THE MOON IS IN ARIES TODAY! Keywords: aggressive, competitive, sports, creativity, head games, self-centered, self-absorbed, selfish, starter, the beginning, creation, creating, game player, new beginnings, the head, impulsive The Moon in Aries is trine (easy and effortless energy) your 5th house of pleasurable activities, dating, love affairs, playtime/acting, sensual emotions, lovers, parenthood and sexuality, creativity, artistic pursuits, hobbies, recreation, procreation, children. It also includes leisure, games, sports, self-fulfillment, joy and bliss.
I sent out an update to those of you who had previously ordered my e-book, “Understanding and Using the North and South Node in Your Natal Chart”. If you did not receive this update, pop me an e-mail and I'll get it right to you. THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX! When you look at today's Daily Astrology Chart Wheel (link above or in the blue box below) you are going to see a big ol' red box created out of red lines. In the charts that I write, all squares are in 'solid' red lines. Squares are challenges. This big ol' red box is what we call a Grand Cross or Grand Square (same thing). It's a Grand Cross because all four points of the box have 2 opposition lines connecting one side of the box to the other side. Incidentally, the opposition lines in my charts are always in 'solid' green lines. So basically it is two opposite signs (Aries and Libra in this case) and two other opposite signs (Cancer and Capricorn in this case) creating a big green "X" in the middle of the red box. See it? This "X" needs to be present in order to truly call it a Grand Cross or a Grand Square. The Grand Cross refers to the big ol' "X" in the center and you can call it a Grand Square because of the perfection of the box (square) with the "X" in the center. So it's the same thing. Basically a Grand Cross aka Grand Square is an intense and stressful chart configuration that needs some sort of focus to channel all of this energy into a specific purpose and constructive action. When individual's have a Grand Cross aka Grand Square in their chart, they get stuck in the box and fight with themselves in the box. Imagine a cardboard box with an animal inside trying to get out. It might be comical to watch but probably not so comical to be the one inside the box. So my advice to you is to let your eyeballs float outside of the box so you can see what is out there and anywhere in the chart that IS NOT part of this box, especially if it is a strong point, then focus on that and then you can rechannel this energy into something constructive and productive. If you allow yourself to get stuck in this pattern (box) then it may take you a while to truly crawl out of it. So you can sit there and stare at four walls or crawl out. It's really that simple. This kinda reminds of me of the man who fell in the hole and used the dirt from the sides of the hole to build a mound high enough to crawl out. How ingenious, dont'cha think? I have a load of public eye and high profile clients who have Grand Square's in their chart and that is precisely why they are so successful because they used the dirt to get themselves outside of the box. It's so dang cool. One who has a Grand Square in their chart should never take "no" for an answer. A Grand Square/Cross is always a one quadruplicity. By that I mean a Grand Cross/Square 'has to involve' either the Cardinal Signs, the Fixed Signs or the Mutable Signs. This Grand Cross/Square is in the Cardinal Signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn). Cardinal Signs are the beginning of the season signs and they also represent the points on the compass -- Aries (East), Libra (West), Cancer (North) and Capricorn (South). It is just the opposite of what you might think since Aries is on the left side of the chart, Libra is on the right side of the chart, Capricorn is on the top and Cancer is on the bottom. But folks, you have to remember that the chart wheel snap-shot taken from above is while the earth is rotating AND it is a mirror image snap shot. When you look into a mirror, the image of yourself is the opposite of yourself. Oh that's deeeeep! If you wave to yourself with your right hand, your mirror image will wave to you with your left hand. Oh oh oh, you know as a Gemini that just messes with my mind and jacks me up royally. I LOVE THIS STUFF! Equal and opposite baby! That's the way it is and that's the way it will always be. It's mathematical perfection. When a Grand Cross/Square occurs in the Cardinal Signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn), there needs to be ACTION taken. I mean you really have to do something. Trying just won't cut because to 'try' means you haven't done it yet. And if you say you will "try" then you probably won't. You absolutely, unequivocally have to take action. NOW! This doesn't mean you pout and sulk about how hard your Life is and poor little you. DO SOMETHING! It has to be action, not an affirmation. It is doing something that physically takes action on that 'thing'. When a Grand Cross/Square occurs in the Fixed Signs (Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius), there needs to be an emotional release taken or a surrendering of that tough unmovable ego and will. When there is a Grand Cross in the fixed signs, that's when you need to go stand outside in the yard and scream your worst crime, worst regret, worst sin, worst emotion, worst thought and then ask the Universe to 'pink bubble' it and take it from you and send it along its Spiritual Progression Path ™ . When I say emotional release, I mean emotional release! Stand at the edge of a cliff or on the side of the mountain and let it go. Then you can throw yourself down on the ground and cry like a baby to get the rest out. The important thing is to get it out so you can move on. When a Grand Cross/Square occurs in the Mutable Signs (Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius), there needs to be an adjustment in the way one thinks. As I always say, "Too much of a Good thing, isn't and too much of a bad thing, is." The same goes for this Grand Cross/Square. If there is too much input on the brain, then it leads to indecisiveness and a scattering of energies. Thoughts, ideas, mentation, the intellect and your mental game just gets de-fused and diffused. This will require an adjustment in the way you think, which is where affirmations, prayer, words and language can really serve you. So the nutshell -- This Cardinal Grand Cross/Square is saying, "Get off your ass and physically do something. Stop talking about what you are gonna do and freakin' do it!" Yesterday I explained to you the energy surrounding this Aries Moon. When you get your brain wrapped around how these Sun Signs operate (Aries in this case) then you can use that energy to your advantage. Astrology ALWAYS allows room for your 'free will' because you still get to choose the negative or positive side of the energy. For instance, while Aries is certainly a warrior and treats most things in Life as a conquest, you can either use this energy to go to war with others or you can use this to declare war on your weaknesses and overcome them. Wherever Aries is in your personal natal chart is where this warrior energy is present in you. Remember from yesterday's writing that Aries is the pioneer, the trailblazer and marches to beat of their own drum. If you have a South Node in Aries in your Natal Chart, then you most definitely want to use this Aries energy to declare war on your weaknesses, step out of your ego and address it. Don't kid yourself any longer, address it!!! Aries is the sign of fresh starts and new beginnings and if you have been coming to this website long enough, then you know that this is my favorite Moon simply because of the drive it brings, not to mention it puts the spring back in your step. For all Sagittarian's on the planet, this affects your 5th house of creativity, fun, joy, bliss, children and child-like behavior. Sagittarius is THE MOST optimistic and jovial sign of the zodiac. You are also the luckiest because you are naturally ruled by lucky and benevolent Jupiter. This could easily be a very lucky 'new beginning' for you but if your attitude stinks then so will the outcome. If you are even remotely in a martyr-like 'poor me' attitude, then it works against you and not for you. This Aries Moon is the time to change your attitude and get back your optimistic authenticity. Also I have updated your Monthly Sagittarius Horoscope with your Sun and Mercury Opportunity. The Sun and Mercury moved into Virgo. I sent out an update to those of you who had previously ordered my e-book, “Understanding and Using the North and South Node in Your Natal Chart”. If you did not receive this update, pop me an e-mail and I'll get it right to you. You can catch me on social media. I have two Facebook (FB) pages. One is under Dr. Loretta Standley and the other is under Loretta Standley. My Dr. Loretta Standley FB page is linked with my Twitter feed where often times I get on a roll and make a lot of quick astrology posts. Sometimes I also get on a roll Tweeting without posting them through Facebook. My Twitter handle is drstandley.
