The Sagittarius Moon is moving through your 3rd house of communication, writing, mental abilities, lower education from 1st to 12th grade, early learning, immediate environment, short journeys, local travel and travel within your own country. It also rules neighbors, siblings and extended siblings such as cousins, nieces and nephews.

Today's Moon in Sagittarius is making a wonderful trine to the Sun in Leo, which is great for relationships. Remember, all signs of the same element are 'trine' (easy and effortless energy). Sagittarius and Leo are of the same element (fire), which makes them trine each other. Keep in mind the Moon rules your emotional response and the Sun rules your identity, ego and the potential of your power. More simply put, the Moon is estrogen and the Sun is masculine. Whenever I write about compatibility between two people, I always remind you that the Moon and Venus are the estrogen in the chart and the Sun and Mars are the testosterone in the chart. Well today the Sun and Moon are pretty clear of any debris (bad aspects) so it ought to make for well-balanced attractions between the yin and yang (feminine and masculine) energies. Okay, okay . . there is that little sesquisquare from the Sun in Leo to Pluto in Capricorn that indicates someone is making a mountain out of a molehill or blowing things out of proportion but that is getting weaker as the Sun moves closer to Virgo. Have you or someone close to you been blowing things out of proportion lately? Well, that's been the sesquisquare from the Sun to Pluto. The sesquisquare is really asking you to take a chill pill and just chillax. The sesquisquare aspect on the chart wheel looks like a little box with an "L" on it sitting right on top of a red-dashed-line. Remember, in the charts that I write, all blue lines are easy and effortless energy and all red and green lines are challenges. And yeah, if you notice from the Daily Astrology Chart Wheel there are still Water Sign Grand Trines present but not as impacting as the Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune trine was that I was cramming down your throat for a while there. The Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune trine has passed but we still have some fairly significant easy and effortless energy trines dancing around the cosmos.

Back to the Moon in Sagittarius trine the Sun in Leo. So we have a wonderful connection today between estrogen and testosterone. This makes the sexes very attractive to one another with some extra hotness (fire) ignited on it. I don't know about you, but cologne on a man will make me literally walk into walls. God help me if I smell cologne on a man under this aspect. Get my drift? After all, cologne is made for a woman's nose, not a man's nose and perfume is made for a man's nose, not a woman's nose. Woooo, if this is a date night for you, it might get a little hot! The energy is more optimistic, fun, adventurous and definitely heated. If your personal natal chart interacts harshly with this Moon/Sun aspect then certainly the heat could be heated at the other end of the spectrum. But since I am writing for an entire population of people all around the world and not for each of you personally, only you would know what kind of heat this feels like . . either heated arguments or like a dog in heat. (winky wink)

Now for the pièce de résistance or icing on the cake. Venus moves out of Virgo today at 11:37 AM EDT and moves into Libra. Venus in Virgo is the perfectionistic and critical nag in relationships. There are more single people with Venus in Virgo because quite frankly, no one is Good enough. OUCHY! Well thank God this aspect is leaving because Venus naturally rules Libra and Libra is the sign of committed relationships, companionship, partnerships and let's hold hands and sing, "Kumbya." Libra just wants to get along, have a happy home and socialize. Harmonious relationships are the focus and nothing will be as important as a relationship that works. The other thing about Venus in Libra is it is strongly attracted to the opposite sex and it is also strongly attracted by the opposite sex. Those who have Venus in Libra in their natal charts will never lose their looks. They will always be attractive to the opposite sex. ALWAYS! What a relationship themed day it is with the Sun trine the Moon and Venus moving into Libra.
