The Gemini Moon is moving through your 11th house of friends, groups of people, social acquaintances, former relationships (ex's), organizations, alliances, fraternities, memberships, money from the employer, finances of employer and stock exchanges. It is also about your hopes, wishes and dreams.

The day begins with the Moon Void of Course in Gemini and continues on its Void of Course path until it reaches 03 degrees in Cancer at 1:38 PM EDT. For a full explanation of the Void of Course time period, which I calculate between 27 degrees of one sign up to 03 degrees into the next sign, please read the first three paragraphs on the main Void of Course page. This will seriously aid in your understanding of what this time period looks like. I liken it to the same type of energy when you are moving from one home (residence) to another. People, boxes, packing, phones ringing and emotions running high. While the day begins with the Moon in Gemini, it will be moving into Cancer this morning. Since I calcuate the Daily Astrology Chart wheel at 5:00 AM EDT, that is why you see the Gemini Moon present and the first two paragraphs above being about Gemini. By 6:33 AM EDT the Moon is already moving into Cancer at 00 degrees but it will not be out of the Void of Course period until 1:38 PM EDT this afternoon. So the energy moves quickly in Gemini, a bit scattered and fiesty. You will be able to tell when the Moon moves into Cancer because the Moon naturally rules the sign of Cancer. The Moon rules moods, sensitivities, emotions and feelings, which is why the sign of Cancer is the moodiest and emotionally sensitive sign of the zodiac. Folks, you will really need to keep a handle on your emotions during this time period. Come on now . . you can help it. This really depends on what 'you choose' to control you. Yep, you choose what controls you. Personally, I don't like giving up that much control to something or someone who could rob me of my joy. Even so, it happens and it is up to me to snap out of it. When it comes down to it, we still ultimately decide who or what controls us emotionally. It doesn't matter if that is someone who cuts in front of you in traffic or someone close to you who rubs you the wrong way. And believe me, the person who cut you off in traffic doesn't even know you are angry, they are just going about their day. If you stay angry, that's on you and you lost emotional control and handed it over to someone who doesn't even know they have control of you. That happens in all kinds of relationships as well, using traffic was just a perfect example.

So the nutshell for today as this Moon moves into over-emotional Cancer, SNAP OUT OF IT! Invariably I will lose a friend on Facebook when the Moon is in Cancer because it's eggshell walking time and I don't walk on eggshells that well. (winky wink) I'm pretty straight forward with my Capricorn Moon, which opposes the Cancer Moon, BAM, and then someone takes something too personal. Just know that this energy exists and be keenly aware of it. Someone is going to lose emotional control, just don't let it be you.

One final note before the Cancer Moon horoscope below, the motto for Cancer is, "I feel therefore am," which should be channeled intuitively, not over-emotionally. Certainly our emotions have a strong piece of intuition but there is a big difference between just being emotional and sourcing our emotions on an intuitive level. Seek to know this difference within yourself. You'll be glad you did.

Today's emotional Void of Course Cancer Moon will affect your 12th house of behind the scenes actions, the hidden realm and what you don't want others to see or know about you. The emotional drama you may be experiencing may drive you into seclusion where you just don't want to talk to anybody. Call this the Leo den or going inside your shell under this Cancer the crab Moon. Make certain that you are not making a mountain out of a molehill especially over something minor; after all, Leo is second to Pisces on the drama scale. You could easily sink into a funk (sulking, pouting and self-pity) and I guarantee you that this will not work in your favor if you stay there too long. You might even say, "I don't care!" Oh the drama, please! Get ahold of yourself Leo and play up your strengths instead of playing up your weaknesses. As I have no doubt told you before, if you are looking for drama then rent a tear-jerker movie or go buy a celebrity gossip magazine and you can get all the drama your heart desires.
