How are horoscopes written?
How can I be a Christian & practice Astrology?
What is a Natal Chart?
Daily Horoscopes are written according to where the Moon is located.
For that reason you will see the Moon information 1st paragraph (below),
the 2nd paragraph is the house that affects your Sign, and the 3rd paragraph is
the horoscope itself based on the information of the 1st and 2nd paragraph.
THE MOON IS IN PISCES TODAY! Keywords: impressionable, easily influenced, indecisive, drama, theatrical, storyteller, intuitive, empathetic, compassionate, sensitive, fearful, escape artist, impractical and gullible
The Moon in Pisces is squaring (challenging) your 10th house public life. This house also rules fame, notoriety, occupation, career, ambition, government, military, chief executives, business life, goals, ranks, political position, status, standing in the public eye, position in society. It shows your standing in the community and social status. It can reflect your attitude to parenting.
The Moon is moving through Pisces and into your 10th house of the keywords above. It is important to first understand that nature of the Moon coupled-up with Pisces to understand how this impacts your 10th house. First, the motto for the Moon is, "I feel therefore I am" so you can see how the Moon would rule your feelings, emotions, moods and level of sensitivity. The Moon just doesn't affect women on their menses (period), it affects everyone. Every 2 to 2-1/2 days the Moon changes signs, which changes our feelings, emotions, moods and level of sensitivity. So while you are standing in your feelings, emotions, moods and level of sensitivity, you are also interacting with everyone else who is standing in their feelings, emotions, moods and level of sensitivity. Depending on your own personal Natal Chart and where the Pisces energy shows up for you, this is why it is fairly easy to 'predict' how you will act and react. Pisces naturally rules the 12th house of what goes on behind the scenes and what nobody else sees. It rules monastaries, monks, cloistered nuns, institutions, jails, prisons, unemployment, hospitals, sanitariums, secret societies and so much more. Pisces is a water sign, which rules the Ocean. Pisces is dreamy, imaginative, contemplative, reflective, extremely intuitive, inspirational and peaceful. Pisces is really a Lover, not a fighter. If you know a combative Pisces, then that person likely has some strong warrior Aries planets in their chart or they have some strong rebellious Aquarius in their chart. You can always check out the rulerships for any of the 12 Sun Signs under the rulerships links to your left.
Now you take the knowledge of this Pisces Moon, which tells us the emotions of the day are reflective, imaginative and intuitive and channel this into monk-like behavior or into the behavior of a prison inmate working the chain gang. You see folks, when you look at the places that Pisces rules, these are places where people are directed by someone else to follow a daily regimen; unlike Virgo (Pisces opposite sign) where one is required through their own doing to follow a daily regimen. Among these places and people that rule behind-the-scenes such as; monastaries, monks, cloistered nuns, institutions, jails, prisons, hospitals and sanitariums, these are places where people are alone with only themselves and God. That's it! Other people structure their Life and they follow a daily regimen that is created for them. Pisces is a very spiritual sign because this alone time is spent reflecting and meditating. That is why during this Pisces Moon I have often directed you to go into 'monk-mode'. I have a South Node Pisces so believe me, it is very easy for me to be alone. I could paint the windows black, lock all of the doors and never come out for days on end but I know that I cannot do that because that would play into my South Node Pisces. I HAVE TO get out and inject myself into the world due to my North Node Virgo and create a daily living routine myself. Still, I gravitate toward aloneness. I'm in my office all day long with the blinds closed, the curtains drawn and the door closed and no one else here but I close myself off. My South Node Pisces 'monk-mode' is familiar with this from past lives. By the way, your South Node describes your past lives. Your North Node is where you should gravitate in this Life. For me, that is my North Node Virgo (healthcare, www.drstandley.com).
Pisces is symbolized by the sign of two fish swimming in different directions. Which way should I go, which way should I go? Pisces is THE MOST intuitive sign of the zodiac. Think of the fish who use a fantastic sense of smell and sonar to navigate the water. Pisces has an insane sense of smell and those of you who are South Node Pisces like me absolutely cannot stand horrible smells. Even a smelly fart by someone else could make someone like me throw up and the smell of dirty feet will just put me over the edge. Pisces rules the feet (fins). Check your own personal Natal Chart for the area ruled by Pisces. Using your intuition and being in 'monk-mode' (reflective and meditative) is the card you need to play during this Pisces Moon. Due to my South Node Pisces, this is what makes me so strongly clair-audient (intuitive hearing) because I have developed it. You can call it hearing voices but quite honestly, I hear only one Voice, which I believe is God speaking to me. This Pisces energy, which has a strong intuitive and spiritual presence coupled with actions of 'monk mode' or the 'chain gang' is where you need to be today in order to figure out (intuitively) your next move. Pisces is also THE MOST fearful sign of the zodiac who flips their tail and heads off in the opposite direction at the slightest sound. Often times I go down to the dock to feed the catfish and before I even step on the dock I can hear the fish flip their tail and swim away. I'm left standing there saying, "I had something for you. I was going to feed you. I had abundance for you." But they swam away. So I step onto the dock, throw out the fish food and wait. And I wait. And I wait. Finally the fish come back and enjoy the abundance. Due to their fear, they prolonged their own abundance. Pisces needs to slow down a bit and tune-in to what they hear (intuition). Go into monk-mode. All too often Pisces doubts their intuition and flips their tail heading off in the other direction as a natural instinct rather than tuning in like a Tune-ah-Fish! Tune-in folks!
"Intuition is when God is speaking in-tu-it
and the 'it' happens to be you." ~Dr. Loretta Standley
Now that you understand this Pisces energy and how you need to go into monk-mode, direct this toward your 10th house (keywords above) and the area of your personal Natal Chart that is ruled by Pisces. This Pisces Moon can prove to be a difficult time when it comes to work or career. You may be working harder where it feels like you are swimming against the current or you may be a free floater and just go with the flow. It is best not to fight this Pisces energy and make any waves because it will be a challenge since Pisces naturally squares (challenges) Gemini. Don't expect a lot of attention or recognition especially if you are calling attention to yourself because the more attention you call to yourself the less attention you will get. The quieter you are and lay low like a quiet fish at the bottom of the river, the more it will work in your favor. And by all means, this is not the day to confront the person who has been rubbing you the wrong way. Make like a slippery fish and disappear until this Pisces Moon passes. Actually, its called the Pisces Houdini Act, in other words, the great escape artist.
