How are horoscopes written?
How can I be a Christian & practice Astrology?
What is a Natal Chart?
Daily Horoscopes are written according to where the Moon is located.
For that reason you will see the Moon information 1st paragraph (below),
the 2nd paragraph is the house that affects your Sign, and the 3rd paragraph is
the horoscope itself based on the information of the 1st and 2nd paragraph.
THE MOON IS IN PISCES TODAY! Keywords: impressionable, easily influenced, indecisive, drama, theatrical, storyteller, intuitive, empathetic, compassionate, sensitive, fearful, escape artist, impractical and gullible
The Moon in Pisces is squaring (challenging) your 10th house public life. This house also rules fame, notoriety, occupation, career, ambition, government, military, chief executives, business life, goals, ranks, political position, status, standing in the public eye, position in society. It shows your standing in the community and social status. It can reflect your attitude to parenting.
First, yesterday I sent out an update to those of you who had previously ordered my e-book, “Understanding and Using the North and South Node in Your Natal Chart”. If you did not receive this update, pop me an e-mail and I'll get it right to you.
Dang there is always something new to teach you! First, keep in mind that Daily Horoscopes are written according to the Moon. That's because the Moon is the fastest moving celestial body, which changes signs every 2 to 2-1/2 days. There are 12 Sun (Zodiac) Signs, so at a rate of 2 to 2-1/2 days it takes the Moon about 28 days total to move through all 12 Sun Signs. Technically, the Moon is not a planet, it is a satellite of the Earth but that's writing for another time. Still, in astrology it is common to call the Moon a planet. The Moon not only dictates the Ocean's tide, it also dictates your 'tide' or put another way, the Moon dictates your moods, sensitivities, feelings and emotions. In Native culture when a woman is on her menses (period) we call it being 'on her Moon'. In astrology, when the Moon is in the sign that is in your personal natal chart, then you are 'on your Moon' in an astrological way, wherein you should be more in-tune with your own moods, sensitivities, feelings and emotions of that particular sign. As I always say, "When it's the Truth, it shows up everywhere!" DANG, I LOVE THIS STUFF!
If you can wrap your brain around the fact that the Moon dictates your moods, sensitivities, feelings and emotions then it will make it easier to understand yourself when you are 'on your Moon'. Uh uh uh, oh no you don't, I didn't say stop reading this and go digging around in your boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse or mate's chart to understand them better, although I do think understanding their Moon is SUPER-OOPER-DOOPER important in relationships. The first thing you want to do is wrap your brain around 'your Moon', so that when the Moon rolls into your Natal Moon sign, and you're on your Moon, then you will know when your moods, sensitivities, feelings and emotions are lit up like an operating room, which is more lit up than a Christmas tree. (winky wink) This can work for you or against you because it is all dependent on your free will and how you will choose to act and react. For instance, the Moon naturally rules the sign of Cancer, which means Cancer is THE MOST moody, sensitive and emotional sign who carries the motto, "I feel therefore I am." Using free will, the Cancer Moon can be channeled inappropriately into acting out emotionally or more appropriately into intuition. "I feel therefore I am."
When you read the Daily Horoscopes and you see the very first paragraph above describing the Moon, like today's Moon in Pisces, take the time to absorb and mentate on the "feeling" that Moon is providing you today because it is 'providing you' with these feelings, moods, sensitivities and emotions to channel appropriately. Everything is meant to serve our highest purpose in Life, not our lowest purpose in Life because that doesn't even make sense. It is completely dependent on you and how you choose to channel YOU! The second paragraph above gives you the information on the house involved that these feelings, moods, sensitivities and emotions will likely present themselves for your Sun Sign. So it is important to be in-tune with your Natal Moon that is in your personal natal chart as well, which is the Moon that you operate from on a daily basis and then join forces with today's Moon in Pisces.
What is so irresistibly cool about tracking the Moon every 2 to 2-1/2 days is we can see our own emotions change and the emotions of those around change as well. So not only are you continually working on handling your own Natal Moon that carries its own feelings, moods, sensitivities and emotions, you are also being influenced by today's transiting Moon flying over your chart in the house involved (see second paragraph above).
This Pisces Moon takes us to the very end of the lunar cycle. The cycle always begins with Aries and ends with Pisces. So the planets (all of them) travel in this order. Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and then Pisces. Aries impulsively and aggressively ram-rods through the gate and then there is this ebb and flow that begins. After the Moon leaves Aries, it settles down into the placid bull and holds its ground for a while, then it springs to Life again in Gemini and gets a little crazy and fiesty communicating with everyone like a toddler realizing it has a voice with sound. Then the Cancer Moon rolls around and asks us to get in touch with our emotions, especially within our own household so we can be better prepared for romantic, center of attention and fun-filled Leo energy who enjoys one-on-one intimacy. Then the Virgo Moon settles us 'down to earth' since it is an earth sign and helps us analyze our next move down to the tiniest detail. Then Libra puts us back out there negotiating, mediating and working through issues with others using all of the information from the previous six Moons in the other signs that just occurred. Scorpio pulls us back and gets us in touch on a deeper, more passionate and intense way of thinking and then Sagittarius put us back out there only on a higher level to shoot higher and bump ourselves up to a higher level of action and thinking. Capricorn 'uses' that level of higher thinking and gets the job done. BAM! Capricorn puts us to work! Get er' done! Aquarius rolls around and makes certain we aren't working too hard and throws friends, networking, rubbing elbows and socializing into our path and then Pisces rolls around (like today) and settles us down into a reflective, meditative and more solitary mode, which I call 'monk mode' so we can mull over our strengths and weaknesses over the past month. What did we do and what do we need to correct and make better? This is when we need to deal with those skeletons in the closet and our hidden behaviors that we don't want anyone else to know or see. Self-correction is the theme for this Moon because you don't want any karma you created over the past month biting you in the ass! When Aries pulls out of the gate again in 2 to 2-1/2 days we blast through ready to ram-rod all over it and smack another month out of the ball park. This is why Aries is the start of creation, the sign of new beginnings and fresh starts. Do you see why I Love the Aries Moon so much? DANG! I LOVE THIS STUFF! Folks, it's all an ebb and flow of feelings, moods, sensitivities and emotions that you get to use your free will to channel as you see fit. If you want to act like an idiot, go ahead and maybe you can catch the bus on the next pass through but in the meantime, you may have to sit on the bench and wait for the next cycle (trip).
Today's Pisces Moon "I believe therefore I am" is impacting the house in the first two paragraphs above and the last two paragraphs below. Whatever you "believe" is how this house will be influenced. Keep in mind that Pisces is very impressionable and can go one way or the other with the flip of the tail. One tiny little sound and that fish will flip its tail in fear and it's outta here! At the same time, Pisces has a strong belief system that whatever you believe, it is so. What do you believe? Take the time to put yourself in reflective 'monk mode' during this Pisces Moon so you can contemplate your strengths and weaknesses over this past month. Then when the Aries Moon pulls out of the gate on Friday, August 23rd and gives you another fresh start and new beginning you are ready to pass GO! and collect your $200. BAM! I LOVE THIS STUFF!
