MERCURY TRINE NEPTUNE

This aspect shows an easy flow of energy and is generally considered favorable. You will mostly experience trines as talents and advantages. However, trines can also show areas which are the line of least resistance. This means that you may be letting these talents slip by unnoticed and that you are lacking motivation.

It is important to understand that the Venus not only rules Love, beauty and relationships, but it also rules self-worth, earned income, personal money and possessions. This is because Venus rules Taurus and the 2nd house of self-worth and it also rules Libra, the 7th house of committed relationships, marriages and thing that are bound by law. Venus is also aesthetic and artistic. There is an attractive or strong response to beauty and money.

Neptune is in-tune. Think of Neptune as being intuitive, in-tune and tuning in like a Tune-Ah-Fish, since Neptune is the ruler of Pisces (the fish).

Mercury trine Neptune is that hyperactive or ADD child who processes so quickly that adults can't keep up. Remember back in the day we use to call these children "daydreamers, fireballs, or bundles of energy". Such wonderful creative imaginative, innovative, inventive types who have been labeled as predelinquent, found to have "deviant" tendencies, or said to exhibit "maladaptive behavior." They are also considered hyperactive, impulsive, and distracted.

Some people who multi-task, shouldn't. You know who you are. Some people have to multi-task or nothing gets done. That's me! The more I have to do, the more I can do. It's wild, but that is exactly how this aspect rolls out. Boredom or not enough to do is the enemy of this aspect. Not enough to do can sink the spirit of this aspect.

This aspect can process and put into practice just about anything it thinks up. Mercury is not only the ruler of Gemini, it is the co-ruler of Virgo, which MANIFESTS what it thinks. I always incorporate into my Lifestyle whatever new 'Good thing' that I learn. Virgo has to participate, cooperate and put things into action otherwise it can procrastinate. As a North Node Virgo, I like to manifest something come into physical reality that I thought about in my brain. It's bringing the invisible plane into the visible plane and I LOVE THAT. Mercury rules thinking, thoughts and thoughtfulness.

I use this very aspect (firing on all cylinders) when writing Astrology. I pull on the thought-filled-threads blasting out of my brain until all of those thoughts unravel and then I can weave them into the BIG picture (writing). The same thing occurs during a chart reading. I can fire up the engine (cylinders) and pull the BIG picture together and tie into a gift with a bow on top.
