JUPITER OPPOSING URANUS

This aspect depicts conflict which, when resolved, results in growth. Oppositions show a tug of war between opposing forces. If they are resolved, then the oppositions become the backbone and strength of the chart.

It is important to understand that the Jupiter is happy-go-lucky and optimistic. Jupiter is lucky, adventurous and abundant. Jupiter is also very benevolent, generous and philanthropic. It rules religion and higher education. Uranus is the planet of a sudden change in circumstance, much like a lightning strike. Uranus also represents innovation, invention, individuality and independence. Uranus literally strikes out and strikes out on its own, like lightning. Uranus is unconventional and electrifying; thereby bringing about sudden change in an instant, which can show up as being erratic. You can pretty much expect the unexpected when Uranus is involved.

This aspect reveals the perfect storm for financial bubbles bursting that began as 'get rich quick schemes' or 'ponzi schemes' aka 'pyramid schemes'. This is very nervous financial energy where the hands are just shaking either trying to get money or shaking just trying to hold onto money. Uranus (involved here) is the higher octave of Mercury, which rules the nervous system. Mercury rules the weather, while Uranus rules storms, which would be the result of the higher octave of Mercury. Since Mercury is the ruling planet of Gemini (sales) and Virgo (perfection), opposing Jupiter (financial abundance) you can see how the perfect financial storm is able to develop.
