North Node in Aries - South Node in Libra July 17, 2023 until January 11, 2025

The North Node is a powerful and sensitive point in your Natal Chart. It can help you get to the place that you desire with the greatest of ease. BUT, you have to use the information rather than file it away.

The Nodes (North and South) will remain in a sign for approximately 1-1/2 years and will then change signs. The Nodes ALWAYS move in retrograde motion, which means they also move through the zodiac backward through the signs.

We just spent 1-1/2 years with the North Node in Taurus and South Node in Scorpio from January 18, 2022 until July 17, 2023. Then the Nodes changed signs on July 17, 2023 and the North Node moved into Aries and the South Node moved into Libra until January 11, 2025.

If you are looking at a Natal Chart that I wrote for you, the North and South Node glyphs are in BLACK. I have also written into your Natal Chart Text information that directs you on how to utilize this energy. Whatever Sun sign and house your North Node is in, then use that energy 'as if' it is your Sun Sign.

For example, I am a 'natal' North Node Virgo, so I pay attention to the Virgo horoscope and use all the rulerships and tendencies of Virgo to my positive advantage coupled with my Sun sign, Gemini AND the house that my North Node is in. Interestingly enough, both Virgo and Gemini are ruled by the planet Mercury, the planet of communication. It's obvious God created me to be a communicator under the subject matter of VIRGO!

Virgo rules the 6th house of health, doctors and hygiene. Gemini rules the 3rd house of communication and is known as the master communicator, writer, author, lecturer, teacher and also rules radio (broadcasting.) Virgo rules the colon and I also did colonics in my former clinic.

So you can see how I have used my North Node (Virgo) coupled with my Sun sign (Gemini) to become a doctor who writes, communicates and teaches. When you use your North Node, you cannot fail.

So now you are called to use your Natal North Node coupled with the current North Node in your Solar Return. The Solar Return is the chart that changes every single year with the exception of your Sun, which will always be in the same Sun Sign, degree and minute. Your Natal Chart never changes, but your Solar Return will change every year based on the coordinates of your residence each year.

Some astrologers will calculate your Solar Return from where you choose to vacation during your birthday in order to give you a so-called better Solar Return. But, astrologers like myself will not do that. It is my belief that just like your bills and your Life, they will be waiting for you when you get back from vacation. You can't fool yourself or the Universe by going on vacation because your energy is locked into where you reside. Home is home.

THE "NORTH NODE" OF THE MOON

The North Node is in Aries from July 17, 2023 until January 11, 2025

When you read your natal chart and find what sign your North Node is in, this will tell you the qualities that you must OR will eventually develop within yourself in order to reach your soul's destiny. And once you know what sign your North Node is in, surely your "cup will runneth over" because when you follow your North Node, you cannot fail.

The North Node is also known as the "Dragon's Head." It is a highly sensitive point in the natal chart when the moon's orbit around the earth crosses the sun's path from South to North. Again, it crosses the Sun's path from South to North . . . UP!!! And the North Node is exactly 180 degrees away from the South Node. In other words, the North Node is opposing the South Node since 180 degrees is half the distance of a 360 degree wheel. The Nodes ARE ALWAYS in opposite signs and on opposite sides of the chart wheel in opposite houses.

Therefore, the North Node expresses what is your soul's destiny (dharma), as opposed to your karma (past). Dharma means cosmic order or law that includes the natural and moral principles that apply to all beings and things.

The natal house that contains your North Node will show you the area of life that you will need to focus those qualities on.

The North and South Node are ALWAYS retrograde and move through the signs backward from 29 degrees 59 minutes down to 00 degrees 00 minutes.

THE "SOUTH NODE" OF THE MOON

The South Node is in Libra from July 17, 2023 until January 11, 2025

The South Node is also known as the "Dragon's Tail." It is a highly sensitive point in the natal chart when the moon's orbit around the earth crosses the sun's path from North to South. Again . . . it crosses the sun's path from North to South . . . DOWN!!! And the South Node is exactly 180 degrees away from the North Node. In other words, it is opposing the North Node since 180 degrees is half the distance of a 360 degree wheel.

Therefore, the North Node expresses your dharma (soul's destiny) as opposed to your karma (past). Your karma is what you have already learned. You've been there and done that. And the interesting thing that most people do is they continue to live out things they have already learned seeking to pour energy into their South Node. It is a never-ending pit. A Bottomless Pit!!!

You can easily recognize your South Node by the challenges you keep trying to overcome. Remember, you have been there and done that. If you continue to have the same type of bad relationships, or continue to lose money, or continue to have traumatic events, or continue to have childhood memories haunt you, then remember, you have been there and done that. It's okay NOT to do it again. Although you CAN USE the lessons of the past to move forward.

Think of it this way, why would you go back to 3rd grade and do the 3rd grade over? Why go back to your first job when you were a kid? Why do those things over?

Ya' know, some people are still living in their painful childhoods as fully grown adults. Some people are still holding grudges from high school. NO SH!T. Some people are still angry about something 10, 20, 30 years ago when everyone was a different person back then. It's insane!

The South Node will give you huge insight into what you have brought with you into this Life. You slid into this world through the Universal Womb we will call 'mom'. You brought one carry-on with you and in that carry-on you brought with you experience and knowledge from your South Node that you can USE in this Lifetime, but you are NOT to repeat the Lifetime. Most people will keep trying to repeat the Lifetime because it's what they know.

You may have seen the South Node referred to as a “double-edged” sword. This is because you have already learned from the South Node, therefore they are considered talents and gifts you already have, so you can quit trying to gain them. Use these talents you have already learned to move you further into your North Node.

Again, it's a 'been there done that' type of thing.

The North and South Node are always retrograde.

NOW LET'S GET INTO THE MEANING OF THE NORTH AND SOUTH NODE IN ARIES/LIBRA

Aries naturally rules the self and how other's see you. It rules the personality, attitude, how you see the world, how you look, appearances, your worldly outlook, and self-awareness and how you respond. It describes how you see yourself and how others see you. It can also describe your physical appearance. Other keywords include: the self, ego, anima, projected image, expression of inner motivation, soul purpose, initial approach to life, the aura. Look at yourself as part of the whole. You are half of the whole. The couple!

Libra naturally rules committments and partnerships. It rules unions, lawsuits, contracts, marriages, agreements, and open enemies with the public (lawsuits). This may be partnerships in business, marriage or another kind of committed relationship. Other keywords include: long-term associations, open enemies, the animus (underlying passion or force) and the relationship between soul and personality.

So you can easily see here that we have here the situation .... I Am vs. We Are .... Me vs. Us .... Myself vs. Ourselves .... I can do it myself vs. I need help .... Lone survivor vs. Helpmate .... Singularity vs. Duality .... On my own vs. The two of us.

Folks, this is an identity situation. A what? YEP! It is all about the self vs. companionship or a twosome. In a couples situation, this is where the couple runs into problems because of the tug of war with what one individual wants versus what is best for the couple. Typically if one couple is fighting for their own way, then both individuals are in 'me' mode and not 'we' mode because they are ultimately looking out for their own Good, not the Good of the couple.
