The Capricorn Moon is moving through your 3rd house of communication, writing, mental abilities, lower education from 1st to 12th grade, early learning, immediate environment, short journeys, local travel and travel within your own country. After all of this reading and re-reading over these past few days, what's a girl or guy to do? What are we all supposed to do now?

It's really quite simple when you think about it. A New Moon occurs every single month and it occurs in the same sign as the current Sun, which is Capricorn. This New Moon in Capricorn will not show itself again until December 21, 2014 which means this New Moon in Capricorn is going to last you an entire year. This Moon is all business and no-monkey business. It wants stability, security, plenty of money in the bank and it wants us to grow-up and act more mature. It wants you to pay your bills on time so you can truly own what you have. It also only wants to buy what it will surely use, otherwise it is a waste of hard earned money. This Moon is serious, cautious, prudent and responsible. It wants the best and only the best, otherwise, forget it.

When contemplating New Year's resolutions, think about this 3rd house as indicated in the 2nd paragraph above. Keep in mind this 3rd house is for all Scorpio's on the planet since it is referring to your Solar (Sun) chart as indicated in the first two above and the last two paragraphs below. This New Moon wants you get with the communication age and transportation age of gadgetry. As a fixed sign, you may be stuck on 'this is the way I always did it'. That was then and this is now. Times are changing and Scorpio needs to up their game with new and improved modes of communication and transportation. Many Scorpio's may still be clinging to that old car or rotary dial phone. If you cannot yet afford a new car, then keep your car clean and well maintained 'as if' it is a new car. You must change your mindset first in order to call in bigger, better and more. This 3rd house rules the mind and it is time to change your mind. You may also have an old cell phone that you think works fine but it's not a smartphone. You may not realize how much more you can get accomplished when you get with the current program. Being fixed and difficult will not help you. This 3rd house is all about here, there and everywhere. It is about being here and there at the same time. You need to give yourself more room to improve and that involves getting your communication skills and gadgetry on track. You will also be called to improve on your communication with others through verbal and non-verbal communication. In other words, you will be having real conversations rather than one-sided conversations, which involves a volleying of sentences back and forth with someone else. When making your New Year's resolutions, resolve to be a better communicator, which also involves listening. If you are prone to traffic tickets, resolve to pay those tickets and no longer be the recipient of a ticket that is truly a waste of money. Resolve to 'use' words more gently. This Capricorn Moon can make you rather matter-of-fact making your words somewhat biting or stinging. New Year's resolutions for you involve better communication on all levels.
