The Gemini Moon is opposing your 7th house of contractual relationships. This house also rules unions, lawsuits, contracts, partnerships, marriages, agreements, and open enemies with the public. This can be partnerships in business, marriage or a committed relationship that is a live-in arrangement. It also includes long-term associations, the animus (underlying passion or force), the relationship between soul and personality.

Now we have 3 planets in Retrograde status, which are Neptune, Saturn and Pluto. Have you ever noticed that gradually once Spring passes more and more planets turn Retrograde and then toward the end of the year for a brief period of time we end up with either no planets or only one planet Retrograde? These do-over's (Retrogrades) give us a chance to get straight and fly right before the New Year. It is important to remember that a New Moon gives us a brand spankin' new beginning in the house of the sign that is involved. This particular New Moon is in Gemini. A New Moon is when the Sun and Moon are in the same degree and same sign. Today they are both in Gemini at 18 degrees 00 minutes. So this is a new beginning in everything that Gemini rules as indicated by the first paragraph of this page. You can also look to the Gemini Rulerships page for more examples of Gemini energy. For all Aquarian's as an entire population of people this affects your 5th house as indicated in the 2nd paragraph above and the last two paragraphs below. It also affects your personal Natal Chart as well. Just look to the house(s) where you see Gemini on the house cusp and that is the focus, especially where Gemini would be at 18 degrees because that is the exact degree of the New Moon today. I did include 2 chart wheels with today's Daily Astrology Chart so you can see on the first chart wheel the outer perimeter that shows the little notches (like a ruler) that show 30 degrees for each Sun Sign. You can also see from that first chart wheel how a sign can straddle two houses. Just like in your personal Natal Chart you may have some degrees in one house and the remaining degrees in the next house. That is 'extremely' common. A chart is read counterclockwise so the degrees are counted left to right around the circle. There are 30 degrees (little notches that look like a ruler) for each of the 12 Sun Signs. 12 x 30 = 360 degrees - A WHEEL! Bay-yam!

So focus on that 18 degree area and THAT is where your 'new beginning' will be. New Moon's set the tone for an entire year and so you want to take care of anything and pay close attention to everything that has to do with communication, transportation, basic learning and all of other things that are Gemini in your Life. Contrary to popular belief Gemini is THE MOST organized sign of the zodiac. Gemini's may be flighty, flirty and fiesty, while at the same time, here, over there and everywhere but they are organized because they compart-mental-ists. Yeah, the mentalist character on the TV show 'The Mentalist' is a Gemini character, the thinker. "I think therefore I am." They are the mental sign of the zodiac ruling the brain and mind; therefore, they put everything in compartments in their mind. They also enjoy anything that keeps them organized. They like to buy containers, gadgetry, communication devices and anything that keeps them going in an easy and effortless manner. I'm a Gemini and I label everything. Batteries go in this container, lightbulbs in that container, all types of tape in this container and all kinds of glue in that container. Gemini does not want to use their time looking for keys. They have places to go and people to see. The keys go there! If you are disorganized, this is the perfect time to organize yourself. If you are a disorganized Gemini, then that is completely out of alignment with your nature and you must get yourself on Gemini track. I don't care what anyone says, Gemini needs to be organized! Further, that has to be uncomfortable and out of sync if you are not. People wonder how the hell I get everything accomplished that I do . . IT'S BECAUSE I'M ORGANIZED!

During this New Moon, remember from my writing yesterday and from your Weekly Horoscope that the square between Uranus and Mercury could cause you to rush to judgment or make snap decisions. RATIONALIZE FIRST! Gemini may be a bit kookey and ka-ray-zee but they are not crazy! They rationalize! I'm a Gemini and since I was just a wee youngin' I always had to rationalize and make sense out of Astrology. I have a skeptical Capricorn Moon that has a little voice always saying, "Yeah, right!" going off in my head. I couldn't just buy into the Astrology process just because I read about it. I had to make some sense out of it and see its Truth's and patterns, which I pray comes through my writings so it makes sense to you. Gemini rationalizes and right now it's telling you to RATIONALIZE AND GET ORGANIZED!
