The Aquarius Moon is moving through your 3rd house of communication, writing, mental abilities, lower education from 1st to 12th grade, early learning, immediate environment, short journeys, local travel and travel within your own country. It also rules neighbors, siblings and extended siblings such as cousins, nieces and nephews.

I'm going to be Tweeting about this Aquarian Moon today instead of giving an individual sign horosopce and instead give you a load of information regarding the movement of the North and South Node that occurs tonight and grows in strength for 1-1/2 years. My Twitter handle is @drstandley.

Tonight is the night at precisely 11:06 PM EDT, 10:06 PM CDT, 9:06 PM MDT and 8:06 PM PDT the North Node in Sagittarius moves into Scorpio and the South Node in Gemini moves into Taurus and not soon enough as far as I'm concerned since I am Gemini. Keep in mind we are still in Daylight Saving Time, which is why it is EDT, CDT, MDT AND PDT. Standard Time does not occur until November and then we will be in EST, CST, MST AND PST. Note the time adjustment in your area of the world.

The North Node will remain in Scorpio and the South Node will remain in Taurus until February 18, 2014. The Nodes typically remain in a sign for right at about 1-1/2 years. The Nodes are ALWAYS Retrograde as you can see from the Daily Astrology Chart box below marked with Rx for Retrograde. Every so often the Nodes will be Stationary Retrograde, meaning they stand still for a day or two as indicated by an "S" and then they will continue on their Retrograde (Rx) path. This means they travel backward in degrees unlike the planets which travel Direct (forward) in degree.

The North Node expresses what is your soul's destiny or dharma (future) as opposed to your karma (past). The North Node reveals the qualities you must eventually develop within yourself in order to reach your soul's destiny. The South Node represents the past and what you already know. This South Node energy is what keeps people on the path of doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results and it's absurd! Yeah, yeah, we've all heard it called insanity ... and it is! You are supposed to take the experience and knowledge you have of the South Node but it must be applied to your soul's destination (North Node). Why would you go back and repeat 3rd grade or your first job? Why would you continue to stay in a relationship that isn't working? Your first clue that a relationship isn't working is that . . IT ISN'T WORKING!

Now read closely folks, the North Node is ALWAYS where 'your cup runneth over' and the South Node is ALWAYS the 'drain' or 'bottomless pit'. ALWAYS! First of all, you should ALWAYS be playing UP your Natal North Node, so whatever sign your Natal North Node is in, you should ALWAYS strive to be more like that sign. Look to the rulerships of your Natal North Node Sign and work it. As most of you know, I'm a Natal North Node Virgo because that's the sign the North Node was in when I was born. Virgo is the sign that rules healthcare. (Hello, drstandley.com) And when the North Node is currently in another sign, then I work the heck out of the house in my chart that is ruled by that sign. For instance, the North Node was just in the sign of Sagittarius, which rules global activity and the big picture. I took the energy off myself (Gemini, since the South Node was just in my sign thereby causing the likelihood of me becoming a drain to myself) and I put all of my energy into my work and the big picture coupled with global activity. Sagittarius IS HUGE GLOBAL, EXPANSIVE, BIGGER, BETTER AND MORE Sign! During the time of the South Node in Gemini I worked my ass off. Sure, I played a lot (that's just me) but I worked my ass off and it did takes it toll. (More on that at another writing.) I revamped much of my website including these horoscope pages where I created a page for every single day and made the horoscope pages bigger, better and more. I kept going bigger, no matter what! Sagittarius BIGGER! I focused much of my attention on making certain that my website received more global attention. I worked the heck out of my social media (Facebook and Twitter). In fact, since there are over a half billion websites in the world (actually over 650,000,000) my website was consistently in the top 120,000 (with #1 being the most traffiked site). It is quite a feat to be in the top 1 million sites of 650 million websites. Well, during this time I dropped my rankings in half from consistently between 120,000 - 140,000 down to consistently between 47,000 - 62,000 in rankings because you want to go down, not up, in ranking number. The goal is to be #1 which is currently held by Google. I worked and worked and worked and worked in order to take the focus and drama off of myself and shoved it, crammed it and stuff it into the area of my chart where Sagittarius rules. I incorporated my Natal North Node Virgo (healthcare and daily regimen) and became even more daily regimented on attaining my Sagittarian goals because Sagittarius naturally rules the 9th house of ambitions, goals, dreams and visions.

So back to the North Node in Scorpio and South Node in Taurus. Scorpio is the area in your chart which is 'meant to' overflow right now. Taurus is the area that will be the drain or bottomless pit. The South Node is the hole in your chart where no matter how much energy you put into it, the energy just falls right out. It's like having a hole in your pocket that you can't sew up. So what do you do? YOU AVOID THE DAMN HOLE! Heck, when you are driving you don't just drive blindly into a pothole do you? And you certainly don't turn around and go back home because there is a pothole in the street, do you? No . . you go around it! It's not even a sneaky maneuver, it's deliberate and just smart driving.

Plenty of Scorpion's out there will have an overflowing cup of Goodness, provided they are committed to playing themselves UP and all of the wonderful gifts of resourcefulness, security, smarts regarding money and closeness with their partner including intimacy, sex and jointly held money. There will be plenty of Taurus' out there who will become a drain unto themselves IF THEY INSIST on pointing the camera at themselves and calling attention to 'poor me'. Nooooooo . . . you cannot adopt poor-me-syndrome during the South Node. You have to focus on the North Node and stay there. This time around it is the North Node in Scorpio and that my little mentators is where you need to focus your energy.

So the nutshell, work this North Node Scorpio in the personal house of your natal chart that is ruled by Scorpio and stay consistently aware that Scorpio rules the entire population of Sagittarius' Solar 12th house of action behind the scenes, solitude, mental health, self-reflection and skeletons in the closet. This is where you cup can and will overflow when you stay on your game, remain smart and stay out of the hole that where Taurus will be in your 6th house. Read what each house represents here!
