The Capricorn Moon is moving through your 12th house of the hidden realm, subconscious, mental health, past, pain, karma, jails, institutions, hospitals, finances of friends, secret sorrows, fears, self-destruction, large animals, skeletons in closet, self-undoing and self-injury. How many of you woke up thinking about money this morning? Well now there is a perfectly Good astrological explanation for that? The Moon conjuncts Venus this morning while both are in business-minded and money conscious Capricorn. This is a VERY physical combination of two planets. The Moon rules emotional motivations and Venus rules both personal money and aesthetics. Venus is the natural ruler of Taurus, which rules personal money, personal possessions, taste (gustatory and refined) and self-worth. Venus also rules the sign of Libra, which is about aesthetics, beauty, art, taste (refined) and physical appearance.

We are still under the orb of influence of the New Moon in Capricorn that occurred yesterday morning along with the Stellium in Capricorn, including Venus Retrograde. Currently, Pluto, the Sun, Mercury, the Moon and Venus are all in the sign of Capricorn. Capricorn is THE MOST materialistic sign of the zodiac. Hey, there is nothing wrong with being materialistic although it does matter how that materialism shows up for you and how you 'use' it. I have a Capricorn Moon and I will readily admit that I am materialistic. I am materialistic in the sense that I will absolutely not waste my money on something cheap, temporary or over-indulgent. I will spend money on something that is of high quality, durability and longevity. I don't want to buy whatever 'it' is again anytime soon. In fact, I want Lifetime warranties. Capricorn wants the best and seeks the best. Even when it comes to going to concerts, sporting events, musicals, etc., I want the best seat possible, otherwise I would rather stay home. But hey, that's just me and my materialistic Capricorn Moon. I do not 'waste' money on fountain drinks at the local convenience store because that drink needs to be Good for me and have the best possible effect on me. That is also why when it comes to my business that I work hard to provide worthy products, services and information because Capricorn rules business. Capricorn is the worker-bee of the zodiac, which also makes me a workaholic. So what does this mean for you and why did you likely wake up thinking about money?

A conjunction emphasizes and brings together the energies of the planets involved. Here we have the Moon and Venus conjunct, which is emphasizing the physical world around you including your physical money (how much you have or have not) and your physical appearance. So this conjunction in the waking hours has made you more aware of these things. What is even more interesting that being in the sign of Capricorn, the ruler of the teeth, skin and bones causes you to give these areas of your body more attention. That's because the teeth, skin and bones are the physical parts of your body where everything is based. Isn't that wild? Oh yeah, we are so physical right now with all of these physical world planets in Capricorn, the New Moon and then Venus in Capricorn really bringing it to our attention. Many of you will begin to see the tag on your clothes in a whole new light. In other words, the mirror and the tag that shows the size of your clothing will begin to not make sense anymore. The mirror shows you the illusion, while the physical tag shows you the Truth.

You need to stay focused on your New Moon in Capricorn that I wrote about in yesterday's horoscope but also adopt a 'physical awareness' about your physical money and physical appearance. Remember, from all of my other writings, all of this Capricorn energy and the New Moon wants you to get your act together once and for all. It wants you to go into another year more stable, structured, responsible and self-limited. From the Weekly Horoscope writings you should be focused on your Jupiter in Cancer 'trine' Saturn in Scorpio energy. Even the T-Square in the Cardinal signs wants you to be focused on Jupiter in Cancer. Did you know that Jupiter in Cancer is the sign of the 'millionaire'? It most certainly is and Jupiter is in its 'Exaltation' in the sign of Cancer, which says, "Come on in and stay a while. Take your shoes off. Whatever is mine is yours? Mi casa, Su casa (my house is your house)." If you can maintain this strict adherence to physical principles in your physical Life these first two weeks of 2014, which takes us up to the first Full Moon in 2014, then it will put you in a very Good spot for the entire year. You need to be crazy serious right now and hammer down.

I'm going to skip writing a personal message to each Sun Sign today and give you all this same message because this conjunction of the New Moon and Venus and the Stellium in Capricorn is that important because it includes a strong awareness of both your physical self-worth (finances) and your physical appearance (body). It is time to look at both of these areas of your Life and see it for what it is. Something probably needs to change and you need to change it right now. Don't make me say, "I told ya' so" because I will, I'm like that.

One other thing, the Moon in Capricorn will turn Void of Course today from 7:21 AM EST until 4:46 PM EST where it will then move into freedom-Loving, rebellious and independent Aquarius. The New Moon in Capricorn deserves your absolute attention for the first two solid weeks of January 2014 up until the Full Moon on January 15, 2014. Stay on it folks, STAY ON IT!
