The BIG NEWS today is Venus squares Saturn! What an awful aspect!!! Damn! It's just awful and as you can see above, we have all been dealing with this lousy aspect since May 1st, it is exact today, and it will last until May 14th. Not only is the Moon is doing a dance four (4) completely different aspects to the Moon - those aspects being a square, a sextile, an opposition and a conjunction. Talk about a crazy roller-coaster of emotions. But hey, what if you decided (and it is a choice), what if you decided to get on the roller-coaster. What if you decided to 'Gemini-mind' your way through this energy. Gemini is an intellectual sign and would rather rationalize or logically figure something out than lose their mind. Gemini rules the mind so you can better your sweet bippy that Gemini is not going to let anything control its mind. You see, that's why I (as a Gemini) will not let myself get addicted to anything. Myself and a whole mess of other Gemini's do not like to have their mind controlled by alcohol, drugs, any addiction including foods, a relationship or some fantasy that is defies logic and rationale.

So while this Venus square Saturn aspect is present, where the Astro-Meme says it all, it is a blessing in disguise that this energy was accompanied by a Gemini Moon. We Gemini's have to make sense out of something. We will even use the phrase, "Does that makes sense?" or "Do you understand?" You may have been feeling unLoved, uncared for and maybe even ignored or forgotten. It's that, 'No one Loves me feeling' and let me tell you, this is a super-powerful aspect, but again, we are dealt a Gemini Moon that will rationalize itself out of any crazy feelings. Do you know why? Because Gemini rules the mind and does not like to lose its mind or be controlled by irrational thoughts. So thank God this aspect has some logic wrapped around it.

The first lunar aspect you see above is the Moon square Neptune. This aspect is prone to heavy moods and bouts of depression. Often times this aspect will leave you without a grip on reality and often times sinking further and further into fantasy and imagination. In other words, this aspect runs away with the imagination. If you can literally picture a spider web and visualize it loaded with emotions, that is what a web of emotions looks like. If you are mature enough, then through time you have probably learned how to pull out the softer side of yourself so that you can channel your emotions constructively, rather than destructively. Well thank God this aspect is occurring early in the day and will be over with by the evening hours thereby cutting the drugs and alcohol issue to a minimum chance.

The second lunar aspect is the Moon sextile Venus and is a charmer in the areas of money and relationships. Men will be able to empathize with their mate or women in general and women will be more graceful, Good-natured and sweet. Women will also feel more domestic simply because the Moon rules the home and family. There will likely be a concern for a cleaner house and beautifying the rooms, decor, design and furnishings. This aspect can also cause you to make lunch or dinner plans.

The third lunar aspect is the Moon opposing Jupiter. This can cause you to be too self-indulgent with luxuries and comforts in life. This could also show up as over-eating. There is a connection to the mother with this aspect since Jupiter is the higher-octave of the mother. So if there are issues with the mother, the emtions can easily be blown way out of proportion. Remember, whatever Jupiter touches, expands. You may also find yourself once again bailing out the lazy child. If you are lazy (and lazy people know they are lazy) will likely be asking for a handout, not a hand up. Goals are rare with this aspect.

The last lunar aspect is the Moon conjunct Mars later in the evening hours. This aspect can make you impulsive and emotional. Well rats. Emotional and impulsive usually causes problems, so make certain you logic your way through this energy. This transit is so impulsive that it can cause you to act without considering the consequences. While this energy does signify a leader more than a follower, it can certainly show up negatively as the bully of a pack who leads others down the dark and dangerous path.
