Daily Horoscopes are written according to where the Moon is located.
For that reason you will see the Moon information 1st paragraph (below), the 2nd paragraph is the house that affects your Sign, and the 3rd paragraph is the horoscope itself based on the information of the 1st and 2nd paragraph.
THE MOON IS IN TAURUS TODAY! Keywords: money, practical, stability, music, possessions, self-worth, morals, values, romance, slow to decide The Moon in Taurus is moving through your 1st house of identity and how other's see you. This house also rules the personality, your attitude, how you see the world, how you look, appearances, your worldly outlook, and self-awareness and how you respond. It includes the self, ego, anima, projected image, expression of inner motivation, soul purpose, initial approach to life and your aura. Take special note that this first house rules your soul's purpose and your inner motivation.
This Taurus Moon naturally rules "self-worth," which means how much you value yourself. This isn't about how much someone else values you, it's the other way around. You are likely to say "no" more times than you can count today and this will reveal just how hard-headed you can be while locking your knees in place. That approach will only make your joints sore, which could lead to inflammation. As a gentle reminder -- "Arth" means joint and "itis" means inflammation of something. If you want to stand in the same place out in the pasture for hours, then fine but don't expect others to join you because you will find yourself standing alone. A part of your body will definitely get inflammed if you keep that stance on auto pilot. Your "no's" will tell you everything you need to "know." It is this lunar influence that may give you a strong indication of where you are stuck, firmly planted and where you just refuse to budge. This Taurus Moon kinda gets a bad rap. Taurus is often called, "stubborn" when all they really are is "fixed" and are usually clear about what they want. The fact that Taurus is represented by the placid firmly planted bull I think contributes to the misnomer. But it is also represented by the melodious cow who also seems to stand in the same place for long periods of time. It's tough to move a bull (unless you piss it off by poking it with a stick) and it's tough to move a cow (unless your startle it and cause the entire herd to stampede). With respect to the house listed above in paragraph two for all Taurus' on the planet and the house ruled by Taurus in your personal natal chart, you might want to ask yourself where do I need to be poked with a stick or startled in order to get me to mooooooooove? Why does it have to come to that? Sun Signs are classified in 'Modes' as either Cardinal, Fixed or Mutable. The fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, which are the signs firmly planted in the middle of each season. It is interesting how the Modes operate because they are two signs that square two other opposite signs. Taurus and Scorpio are opposite and Leo and Aquarius are opposite. And a square is when there are two signs in between two signs. And when you put them all together, two opposite signs along with two opposite signs create a Grand Square. For instance, when it comes to Taurus, it is Gemini and Cancer that are the two signs that separate Taurus and Leo. And Aries and Pisces are the two signs that separate Taurus from Aquarius. So you see how Taurus squares Leo and Taurus squares Aquarius. Oh and lookie there, the two squaring signs for Taurus are opposite signs as well (Leo and Aquarius). The 'modes' are always in four different elements - air, earth, fire and water. ALWAYS! Taurus is earth, Scorpio is water, Leo is fire and Aquarius is air. Oppositions and squares are challenges. The Cardinal Signs (Aries fire, Cancer water, Libra air, Capricorn earth) work this way and the Mutable Signs (Gemini air, Virgo earth, Sagittarius fire, Pisces water) work this way as well. Isn't that cool? Make certain you look at your personal natal chart to see where this energy shows up for you personally, so you can make this energy more personal to your birth information rather than as an entire sign of Aries'. If you missed it, Sunday I wrote an entire monologue on how I go about writing charts, my thinking and about those phone calls . . . I really do answer the phone.
