The Capricorn Moon is trine (easy and effortless energy) your 9th house of the higher-thinking mind, religion, college, higher education, legalities, brothers and sisters-in-law, philosophy, prophecy, philanthropy, all things "foreign", intuition, long distance journeys abroad, churches, airlines, vacations, international commerce, dreams, visions and teachers.

By now you should be well aware that there is a New Moon in Capricorn today at 6:14 AM EST as indicated on the Daily Astrology Chart and as indicated in your Weekly Horoscopes. After all of this reading and re-reading over these past few days, what's a girl or guy to do? What are we all supposed to do now?

It's really quite simple when you think about it. A New Moon occurs every single month and it occurs in the same sign as the current Sun, which is Capricorn. This New Moon in Capricorn will not show itself again until December 21, 2014 which means this New Moon in Capricorn is going to last you an entire year. This Moon is all business and no-monkey business. It wants stability, security, plenty of money in the bank and it wants us to grow-up and act more mature. It wants you to pay your bills on time so you can truly own what you have. It also only wants to buy what it will surely use, otherwise it is a waste of hard earned money. This Moon is serious, cautious, prudent and responsible. It wants the best and only the best, otherwise, forget it.

When contemplating New Year's resolutions, think about this 9th house as indicated in the 2nd paragraph above. Keep in mind this 9th house is for all Taurus' on the planet since it is referring to your Solar (Sun) chart as indicated in the first two above and the last two paragraphs below. This New Moon wants you to jack your level of communication and learning up a few notches. This means getting more involved in your education and travel. You may be either well-read or well-traveled, either way, it is all about education. This New Moon is calling on you to get involved in your education by signing up for classes, workshops, teaching or taking re-certification classes. It has been a tough year and a half for Taurus with the South Node in your Sun Sign but that will soon pass on February 18, 2014. It won't be long now. In the meantime, search for classes that you can take in order to add a few extra letters to your name. Many Taurus' are going to find themselves in a brand new profession, with a new degree or new certification. You may also find yourself in a new culture where you are helping others. This could be traveling to a remote area helping others build houses or teaching them much needed skills. New experiences, new cultures and new adventures await you .... BUT you need some training and developed skills. Some Taurus' will be limited by their own sense of materialism that keeps them from going after more because they don't want to give up what they currently have. This 9th house is all about ambition, goals and really putting yourself out there. Your New Year's resolutions need to be all about goals and new experiences. As a fixed sign, you need to be more open-minded than closed-minded. You need to say 'yes' before you say 'no'. If you say 'yes' first, you can always change your mind to 'no.' But if you say 'no' first, you may have lost the opportunity to say 'yes'. Your New Year's resolutions should all be about being open and available because this New Moon wants to bring in something brand spankin' NEW!
