The Moon in Aries is moving through your 12th house of the hidden realm, subconscious, past, pain, karma, jails, institutions, hospitals, finances of friends, secret sorrows, fears, self-destruction, large animals, skeletons in closet, self-undoing and self-injury. About a week before Mercury turns Retrograde we experience Mercury entering its Storm. 'The Storm' is when a planet (Mercury in this case) starts slowing down and putting on the brakes to go into Stationary status (stopped mode) so it can throw itself in reverse and turn Retrograde (backward in degrees). You may be sensing this change in energy already where you feel the need to throw it in reverse and back track over something. Folks, it is time to take care of some old business. Now listen, Mercury Retrograde does not mean everything needs to break down or get fixed . . but it can, especially if you were not keeping everything well maintained. Think of Mercury as maintenance.

Right now, especially while the Moon is in Aries today and Pre-Mercury Retrograde, it is a perfect time to do your back-ups on the computer, update the tags on your luggage, rid yourself of old e-mail addresses or anything that relates to your old identity. Wash the car inside and out, change the oil in the car, make all new sets of spare keys, make certain the numbers on your house or apartment are easily seen, update passwords, get yourself off of so many mailing lists, cancel subscriptions and make the numbers on your mailbox easily seen. This Aries Moon is always a time of 'new beginnings' so make certain you use this aggressive and fast moving energy to make any self-corrections before you unleash yourself on others. This 12th house can easily sink into a pity party because this is the house of mental health. These are secret sorrows, not to be broadcast in social media or to unload on others. This is a quiet, reflective and meditative house. No one really wants to hear any victimization or 'poor me syndrome' when this 12th house is involved. Take an aggressive approach to looking at yourself.
