The Moon in Virgo is trine (easy and effortless energy) your 5th house of pleasurable activities, dating, love affairs, playtime/acting, sensual emotions, lovers, parenthood and sexuality, creativity, artistic pursuits, hobbies, recreation, procreation, children. It also includes leisure, games, sports, self-fulfillment, joy and bliss.

Today's Virgo Moon can be a toughy if you choose the critical route. I'm saying 'if' you choose this route. Places where people are healthy is where you are likely to get the most attention or catch the eye of an interested party. If you are already coupled-up then do something active and healthy together. Get your groovey back as a couple. If you are single, then get your groovey back as a singleton so that when Mr. or Miss Wonderful pass by, they do the double-take and will surely stop you in your tracks. When you get your groovey back, just watch, the first thing the interested party will do is look at your ring finger. The Virgo Moon is also opposing Neptune in Pisces today, which causes all of us to be drawn to strange and unusual people. On the positive side these individuals may be creative and ethereal (spiritual) but on the negative side they may be confused, whacked and drunk. The Moon opposing Neptune causes us to idolize other people, when what we really need to do is be more realistic.

The next two paragraphs are for everyone and it's important! This past Wednesday, February 12, 2014 I wrote about the Sun in Aquarius conjunct Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius. Slowly but surely they have been coming closer together in degrees, which is what we call 'applying' degrees or an 'applying' orb. Back on Wednesday I wrote to you, "When the Sun and Mercury are conjunct closely like this, then mental wires get crossed and there is overload and brain fry. Stay off the trivial matters now and through the weekend, especially on Friday, February 14, 2014 (Valentine's Day)." Well today the 'applying' degrees between the Sun and Mercury have finally met up and become 'exact' degrees at 3:22 PM EST. You can see this on Today's Astrology Chart Wheel.

Mercury rules the nervous system and Aquarius rules electricity. Talk about overloading the circuits. OMGosh peeps, do not, I repeat, do not bring up old tiring, trivial issues and beat it like a drum or a circuit breaker is going to blow. Just stop already. If you escaped Valentine's Day without doing this, then your day probably turned out well. If you did not, then today is not going to help matters. Mercury rules communication, it is Retrograde, taking us back in time in order to correct ourselves, not for us to correct someone else. Who do we think we are? The Sun represents the identity and Mercury rules communication, so I wouldn't use this energy to create a burnout conversation with someone. I said on Wednesday and I'm saying again today, "Stay off the trivial matters now and through the weekend," which takes us up to the Libra Moon that I mentioned yesterday. It was yesterday that I wrote, "If you need to talk maybe you could put this off until the Libra Moon which will occur in a few days that supports negotiation, agreements and mediating. The Libra Moon occurs Monday, February 17, 2014 at 1:23 PM EST until Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 10:32 PM EST." Folks, timing is everything, not to mention this gives you a chance to get your story straight or your words in order. We need to think before we speak right now because the Sun conjunct Mercury makes it hard for us to see ourselves as others do. In other words, we can't see our flaws but we sure as hell do see everyone else's. Come Monday, February 17, 2014 these two planets (the Sun and Mercury) will have a separation of 5 degrees, which is called "separating degrees" and the energy between them will have separated and eased up and we will also be in the "I don't want to fight" Libra Moon.
