This is a time where affections with the home and family are prominent. Somehow it is easier to ignore quality time with the home and family, thereby placing more attention on other cares of the day. He looked at me, smiled and said, "Well we normally don't discount on the oil because it's maintenance but I think I can do something here. How about 15 percent?" Being the Gemini that I am, with a charming Gemini flirty smile I said, "That would be great! I really appreciate it." Geez, I didn't even need to use my wink with my smile . . but I did.

Venus in Gemini is not really motivated to settle down. This Venus in Gemini energy likes to 'date around' and it extremely difficult to make a relationship, permanent. The sign of Gemini is known for having two of everything including two Loves and when you throw Venus in Gemini into the mix, then two Loves is a necessity. In fact, I expect a lot of people may feel like back-pedalling in their relationship and may not feel all that excited to 'settle down'. There will likely be phrases such as, "Can't we just be friends?" and "I Love you, I'm just not in Love with you." Now as a Gemini, I'm old enough now to admit to myself and the world that this is definitely the case. While Gemini may be in Love, they also have a Love in their back pocket just in case the other Love doesn't work out. The fix for this is to have a career or hobby that you most certainly would not give up for a romantic Love. In this way the Gemini can have their cake and eat it too. So I have my Scorpion King who I Love and I have this website, which I Love. I wouldn't give up this website to make room for another man and keep him in my back pocket just in case. Forget that! My insatiable and unquenchable desire for two Loves finally got satisfied. So the Gemini mistake is making the two Loves 'of the same' instead of 'entirely two different things'. Get it?

Venus in Gemini is much like Venus in Aquarius who often says, "Can't we just be friends?" Those with Venus in Aquarius or Venus in Gemini should probably not even get married. In fact, I will just go out on a limb and say 70 percent of those with Venus in Gemini or Venus in Aquarius have absolutely no business being married. This does not mean that Venus in Gemini or Venus in Aquarius can't be devoted individuals because they can be, they just need an enormous amount of personal freedom and the kind of freedom they need isn't what a normal person can give them. I'd say that the Sex in the City character, Samantha had Venus in Gemini. Someone with Venus in Gemini or Venus in Aquarius in their natal chart is spending a helluva lot of time chasing pleasure. In fact, when it comes to a value system concerning romance, intimacy, dating, marriage and Love; Venus in Gemini is pretty dang superficial.

Venus will go through its Retrograde period from May 15, 2012 until June 27, 2012. During that Retrograde period you absolutely do not want to mess with your looks by getting a full make over or even plastic surgery during that time. No one should EVER change their appearance too much or even drastically during Venus Retrograde. Also, here is the heads up on relationships, Venus Retrograde is not the time to set wedding dates, get engaged or even get married or you will be rehashing all of the problems you didn't settle and work out. Mars is all about AGGRESSION and DRIVE! Mars in Virgo in is opposing your 7th house of contractual relationships. This house also rules unions, lawsuits, contracts, partnerships, marriages, agreements, and open enemies with the public. This can be partnerships in business, marriage or a committed relationship that is a live-in arrangement. It also includes long-term associations, the animus (underlying passion or force), the relationship between soul and personality.

Mars moves into Virgo for an unusually long transit of nearly 8 months. That's quite a long time. Mars typically stays in a sign for about 1-1/2 months, so you can see 8 months is out of the ordinary. Now the reason for this is Mars will turn Retrograde in Virgo on January 24, 2012 and then turn Direct on April 14, 2012 moving along again picking up speed but for now, it's a slow poke. The Good news is Mars in Virgo (earth sign) will form a trine with Pluto in Capricorn (earth sign) and Jupiter in Taurus (earth sign) forming a Grand Trine.

This trine in the earth signs will impact the water signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces') 3rd, 7th and 11th houses. The short answer for these houses involves your communication, transportation, relationships and travel. It is a very high probability that you may catch the travel bug or you will be traveling for work. Either way, money has to be there to support it, right? There is a tiny tiny tiny chance this travel takes you out of your own country as it is more than likely travel within your own country. After November 26, 2011 if there were ever a time to work closely in a partnership, this is the time. In other words, working in conjunction with an existing partner can turn into something very wonderful.
