The Capricorn Moon is moving through your 11th house of friends, groups of people, social acquaintances, former relationships (ex's), organizations, alliances, fraternities, memberships, money from the employer, finances of employer and stock exchanges. It is also about your hopes, wishes and dreams.

You may have a stronger need for organizations and social relationships when the Moon is in Capricorn. Now keep in mind that Capricorn is the sign of the public, recognition and status. So if you have any connections with groups, friends or organizations who have connections with higher ups or higher opportunities, then you need to grab the opportunity. The Moon in Capricorn is in its detriment. The 'detrimental' placement is like a fiesty child throwing a temper tantrum in the grocery store. Basically, it acts out inappropriately at the wrong time and wrong place. The Moon is naturally ruled by Cancer but Sunday through today the Moon is in Capricorn (it's opposite natural ruling sign). So you can see why the Moon is in its detriment when it is in the sign of Capricorn. A detriment isn't the weakest placement for a planet but it's pretty damn close. The Cancer Moon is sensitive, warm and wants to snuggle, while the Capricorn Moon is cold, insensitive and non-clingy.

When the Moon is in Capricorn it creates a rather cold and pessimistic emotional outlook. It is so serious, that it is over-serious. Financial and material values take a front seat rather than a more spiritual and ethereal outlook. Everyone who considers themselves a 'spiritual' person will not appear to be so spiritual now. This Capricorn Moon makes everyone a human 'doing' instead of a human 'being'. Get my drift? The Capricorn Moon (believe it or not) causes a person to be incredibly shy, reserved and even insecure about their self-worth, which in turn causes them to become oversensitive to smallest thing. Capricorn is the diva of the zodiac and when this Moon gets rebuffed, then emotional overload ensues. This is a dignity thing. The nutshell of this New Moon in Capricorn reveals that dignity is on the line! This Capricorn Moon takes being embarrassed or shamed very hard because it is actually demoralizing. I find this really interesting because the word "detriment" falls under the topic Dignity and Debility in astrology. So listen up folks, if you choose to be stable, prudent, practical, hard-working, responsible and self-limiting with this wonderful Capricorn energy, the Universe will reward you in kind. This is NOT the time to act like an idiot and run off the rails. Entering 2015 off the rails will take you months and I mean MONTHS to recover and right yourself. When you wake up on January 1, 2015 you want to be sober, aware and ready to get up without hitting the snooze button.

Today's continued New Moon in Capricorn creates a Stellium, which is four of more planets in the same sign and within 10 degrees of each other. We have the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Vesta, Pluto and Venus all within a few degrees of each other. Capricorn is the boss and manager of the zodiac. MANAGE YOURSELF!
