The Moon in Scorpio is moving through your 2nd house of value systems, physical possessions and money, personal self esteem and talents. Considering that the New Moon occurred right at the first of the month on January 1, 2014, then the next New Moon on January 30, 2014 should not be such a shocker. Keep in mind that the calendar is made up by mankind and the stars (cosmos) is made up by God. My advice, follow the planets, not what happens to fall between the lines of man's calendar.
