The Moon in Leo is moving through your 1st house of identity and how other's see you. This house also rules the personality, your attitude, how you see the world, how you look, appearances, your worldly outlook, and self-awareness and how you respond. It includes the self, ego, anima, projected image, expression of inner motivation, soul purpose, initial approach to life and your aura. Take special note that this first house rules your soul's purpose and your inner motivation.

How wonderful that we get almost three full days of a Moon in Leo. If you missed the previous writing on this Leo Moon, click back over the past two days and play catch-up. This Leo lunar influence has grown in strength, which is now giving you more power, stamina and courage than you have had in quite some time. You may also feel so strong and powerful than you have no problem marking your territory or defending it. It is important to note that Leo's (cats, felines) are very territorial creatures. When a cat rubs up against you, they are literally marking their territory. And if a cat likes you, then you are their territory too. We all know a Leo Sun Sign and we all have Leo energy somewhere in our chart. So keep that at the forefront of your brain while you read on. Cats are literally covered in scent glands. They have scent glands on each side of their head, on their lips (yeah lips), chin, along their tail including the base, near their sex organs and between their front paws. They use these scent glands to 'scent mark' their territory. When the cat rubs up against you, the cat is marking you with their scent, claiming you as their own. The cat is also picking up your scent, which might also explain why some cats do not like certain people due to their scent. A cat can ignore you, but you cannot ignore the cat. Just the same as the Leo person in your Life, they can ignore you but you cannot ignore them. They cannot take it and they will not have it. This is the same way with you in the area of your chart that is ruled by Leo. If I wrote your chart, this is why it is so important for you to read the section of your chart called, "The Houses" so you will know how and when you act and react in a certain way. It will be just like the Sun Sign that rules that house. A cat will rub up against furniture or doorways for the exact same reason in order to mark the item as their own. It's not your house, it's the cat's house. When your feline friend sprays their urine, they are literally marking their territory and showing you whose house you are in. And don't you forget it. Well, you won't because the smell is so bad.

Having said all of that above, you may find yourself defending your territory in the 1st house of the self, appearance and how others see you AND/OR the area ruled by Leo in your chart. This can cause to take a more serious approach as to how you look. Jupiter in Leo has caused many Leo's to literally balloon in size because Jupiter expands whatever it touches. I had alerted you to this a year ago in your Jupiter in Leo Yearly Horoscope. When Jupiter is moving through an individual's Sun Sign, it really can make that person gain somewhere between 20 and 30 lbs. in one year. No kidding! Rest assured, if you were one of these Leo's, then the weight will be coming off soon because Jupiter will move into Virgo in August 2015, which is the sign of physical health and you will be obsessed (and I mean OBSESSED, like OCD obsessed) about losing the weight. So do not get too offended if a word or two was mentioned about your weight. You do not need to get territorially-defensive over your weight if its the Truth. If it's not your weight, then this could be something else that the 1st house influences, such as ego. OUCHY!
