The Moon in Scorpio is squaring (challenging) your 4th house of home, family, the mother, older women. It describes your roots, your heritage and your private life. This house also rules land, property, residences, domestic affairs, psychological foundations, biological inheritance and place of abode.

Everyone should have a sanctuary or quiet space that they can retreat to in order to regain their inner strength and mental prowess. All Sun Signs have this need at one time or another but it is Leo who actually needs their own private space where they can retreat and be alone or take a nap, which would be your den. A place of seclusion is what you need whether that is a room in the home, a space in a certain room or a space outside on your property. If none of these places work for you, then maybe you could find an area in the local park where you can sit in a grove of trees or a cave of some sort. You get my drift. Having a quiet space will help keep you from growling at those who are closest to you. Growling or roaring at those closest to you will typically happen more during the Scorpio Moon simply because this lunar influence is challenging your 4th house of home and family. For some more playful and socializing Leo's, the den will either show up as the 'man cave' for the male or the perfect entertaining kitchen for the female. Either way, the sacred space should be present in the Leo home. Make certain you do what you need to do in order to make the space available for you, or at the very least, find a place where you can go, regroup and hopefully take a cat nap.

I forgot to mention in yesterday's horoscope that not only was 'Mars' in Scorpio squaring Mercury in Leo and Jupiter in Leo, but the 'Moon' in Scorpio was squaring these two planets as well. This sure didn't help matters much since the Moon rules the emotions and Jupiter expands whatever it contacts. The Moon square Jupiter resulted in over-inflated emotions. Today the Moon in Scorpio has grown in degrees so the square to Jupiter and Mercury has passed but now the Moon in Scorpio is squaring the Sun in Leo which creates emotional insecurity. Well RATS, if it isn't one thing it's another. Just remember, following the rules of the planets is like following the rules of the road. Just obey the 'signs' and your risk of issues drops dramatically. The 'signs' today say do not make a mountain out of a mole hill and then pick a fight (Mars reference) while it is snuggling the Moon (emotions) and squaring the Sun (ego). Keep your own emotions in check before you even attempt to check someone else's emotions. No matter how safe you drive, there will always be idiots out there ignoring the 'signs' and thinking the rules of the road do not apply to them, so they act out by speeding, running lights and tailgating. Do you get my drift folks? Think of Astrology in this way and it will help you stay on your game by simply obeying the signs.

This paragraphs stands as it did the past two days because it still applies. Mars in Scorpio is still squaring Mercury in Leo and Jupiter in Leo. A square is an aspect that reveals the tension, obstacles and challenges in your Life that reflect the planets involved. In this case Mercury rules communication and transportation, Jupiter reveals expansiveness, abundance and things blown way out of proportion to what they truly are and Mars is aggressive, argumentative, impulsive and rebellious. Mars is always ready for a fight, especially when it is challenged and a square is a hard challenge. Can you see how communications can get blown out of proportion and then an argument ensues. Talk about over-inflation! Maybe you weren't looking for a fight but you sure may get one if you do not keep this information at the front of your brain and written on your hand. Gosh, any little thing can get blown up as fast as a helium tank blows up a balloon. Just like that, the balloon is blown up and it is TIED off and way too difficult to undo. Get my message?

As I wrote to you in your Weekly Horoscope, this paragraph is where the solution is ---- When Mars in Scorpio is afflicted, through an aspect such as a square, it can lead to incredible resentment, hostility and grudge holding. Mars in Scorpio can be so domineering with emotions that it can literally beat another person down into servitude and submission. If you are in a tough situation right now, it does not have to be that way. In fact, if just one person eases up just a little bit, then this affliction can stop that tough energy in its tracks. Picture a tug-of-war match between two people. What happens when one person lets go? Don't just ease up on the tension because that continues the tug-of-war, you have to literally let go and take your hands, attitude and mind off the argument and it will stop. Just like that it will stop because the other person does not have an opponent on the other end of the rope to continue the war. It does not mean you give up, it just means you are not willing to play. THAT my dear little mentators is how you beat an afflicted Mars in Scorpio at their own game, especially if you have Mars in Leo in your chart. Mars in Leo is actually stronger that Mars in Scorpio and can beat Mars in Scorpio at its own game simply by having the willpower to do so and 'not' let itself get engaged in a game of tug-of-war. Visualize the release of that rope and whoever it is, or whatever it is at the other end of the rope and the energy will fall away under its own weight. Easy Peasy Nice and Breezy!
