The Moon in Leo is moving through your 1st house of identity and how other's see you. This house also rules the personality, your attitude, how you see the world, how you look, appearances, your worldly outlook, and self-awareness and how you respond. It includes the self, ego, anima, projected image, expression of inner motivation, soul purpose, initial approach to life and your aura. Take special note that this first house rules your soul's purpose and your inner motivation.

Everyone gets the same horoscope today because this is important. I'm going to take advantage of this Leo Moon today (fire sign) and use it to Light a fire under your butt. The timing could not be more perfect. When you look at the Daily Astrology Chart Wheel (link above) you will see that the Sun in Aries is in opposition to Mars in Libra. It is important to understand that oppositions are conflicts but that does not have to be such a bad thing. When conflicts are resolved then growth has taken place. Oppositions are here to serve us and not meant to keep us down and under-the-thumb. That doesn't even make sense! Yes, oppositions are a tug-of-war between two opposing forces but when there is resolution, then that opposition becomes backbone and strength. Yep, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. When we look at the two Sun Signs involved here, Aries and Libra, we should make a mental note that they are the same but different. Aries represents aggression and Libra represents assertion. They are both action-oriented, ready to go and confrontational but in two very different ways. Libra does not want to fight but they will confront with assertion. Libra is a Lover, not a fighter. Aries does want to fight, they enjoy confrontation and will do so with aggression and possibly even weapons. Even words and sex can be used as weapons. Stretch your mind here folks.

So now we have this see-saw battle between assertion and aggression and we need to learn when it is appropriate to use either one. When is the right time? Finding the balance between the two can be a fiesty challenge and it is your job to learn the difference between assertion and aggression. This opposition will bring out the fighter in us who does not and will not back away from a challenge or competition. Those with the Sun opposing Mars in their natal chart are always in disagreement and dissension with others, which is a constant problem. Those with Sun opposite to Mars in their charts, usually have a problem with everyone and everything. aaarrggghhhhhh! Right now, you may find yourself drawing assertive, aggressive and/or strong-willed people into your Life. Where you don't want to be aggressive, maybe you are calling someone into your Life to fight your battle for you.

One thing we all need to learn from this Sun opposing Mars aspect is that many of the battles we are fighting are completely unnecessary. Remember that Aries represents me, myself and I, while Libra represents we, us and our. Some of you may be in unnecessary battles that are born out of minutia. All of these trivial matters that you keep arguing over are impeding your success and throwing you off your game. Don't you see that? Come on folks . . COME ON! . . do not be that easily distracted or fooled! Unnecessary battles make very little contribution to your success so you might reconsider these undesirable antics. What a freakin' waste of time, breath and sometimes money. As with anything else, the best way to channel aggression is to direct it into a creative and productive outlet. Haven't you even seen a maestro direct an orchestra? When the maestro's coattails are flying, then we get the benefit of the symphonic masterpiece. BRING IT MAESTRO, BRING IT! When this opposition is channeled appropriately, the strong drive will serve you in reaching whatever goal you set.

Certainly, there is a lot of challenging energy this month, which I wrote about a few days ago. We have an exact Cardinal T-Square coming up from April 16 - 23, 2014 and we have the South Sode in Aries during the month of Aries until April 23, 2014 and we have the Sun in Aries and the South Node in Aries conjunct at 28 degrees on April 18, 2014. ICK! It's just a month of challenge but again, I can only see this as a Good thing when we consider what these challenges are 'suppose to' do for us. I just refuse to believe that the Universe rolls this energy out before us just to watch us trip, slobber and stumble all over ourselves in order to keep us down and point its finger at us and get a belly laugh out of our troubles. I just don't believe that. It's a ridiculous thought and doesn't even make sense. So when I hear someone wasting time and sighing over this energy, I know they will likely be in the same place next year. If you fall into poor-me-syndrome, then you are sitting right smack dab in the energy drain of the Sun/Node Node in Aries of me, myself and I. Those who blame and shame others and refuse to take action and responsibility for their path, will stay in the same place. Nothing changes. And how could it? Seriously? How could something change if you don't change? So, this month you can throw yourself down on the floor in the fetal position, suck your thumb and cry about it . . . or you can throw yourself down on the floor in the fetal position, suck your thumb and cry about it for about 15 minutes and then get up and get on with your Life. I have been in this thumb-sucking fetal position in the early stages of this website. Oh yeah, I was all crumpled up on the floor, crying and wringing my ankles together in frustration. It wasn't pretty folks but by golly after 15 minutes I was back in my chair typing my ass off!!! I got through it and so can you. I really do put a time limit on my poor-me-syndrome's.

I have been on a serious roll since the Sun moved into Aries on March 19, 2014 being hyper-aware that the South Node is also in Aries. Then the New Moon in Aries arrived on March 30, 2014. I take Aries very very very seriously. I keep my nose clean and I channel this aggressive energy into working and staying on my game. Granted the Daily Horoscopes have been a bit untimely but I am making HUGE changes in my work environment so that I will have more time for WRITING! I need more time to write and these 'new beginnings' which is represented by the Sun Sign of Aries will ultimately serve me because Aries is the sign of me, myself and I. Writing takes time. Creative and original writing is not something you can pop out in a few minutes. As any writer knows, it takes HOURS! Some astrologers write once a month and some of us write every single day. I'm okay with that but I want to write MORE! The new advertising on the site is going to take some pressure off of me to support the site so I can spend more time writing. And my new assistant has taken a lot of pressure off me in my personal and daily Life. When I come out of this Aries energy, my structure should look very different. Folks, you need to push through this and get serious too. Aries is pioneering, it is trail-blazing and it takes no prisoners. This is some shut-up and get out of my way energy. It is move aside or I will run you over type of energy.
