The Sagittarius Moon is moving through your 11th house of friends, VIPs, groups of people, social acquaintances, former relationships (ex's), organizations, alliances, fraternities, memberships, money from the employer, finances of employer and stock exchanges. It is also about your hopes, wishes and dreams.

Even though the day begins with the Moon in Sagittarius (as you can see above in the first paragraph) the day will end with the Sun moving into Capricorn at 6:03 PM EST and a New Moon in Capricorn at 8:36 PM EST. Uranus in Aries also turns Direct today at 5:45 PM EST. It is a jammin' astrological day! It is also the Winter Solstice (the shortest day of the year) coupled with a New Moon in 'all business and no monkey business' Capricorn. This Capricorn Moon is serious and business-minded with a focus on stability, longevity and success. A New Moon is when the Moon and the Sun are in the same sign and same degree. In other words, they are conjunct, like conjoined twins and a conjunction emphasizes and brings together the energies of the planets involved. In this case, the Moon will be in Capricorn at exactly 00 degrees 06 minutes and the Sun will be in Capricorn at exactly 100 degrees 06 minutes. The New Moon is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS a time of new beginnings! It is important to note that Capricorn naturally rules the 10th house of career, authority figures, the father, the military, public standing, rank in society, status in the community and recognition outside of the home and family. Capricorn is the worker-bee of the zodiac. WORK WORK WORK!

Capricorn energy is incredibly disciplined, structured and responsible. This Capricorn energy is hardworking, prudent in a cautiously-wise sort of way and it is steady as a dang rock. Think about the Capricorn people you know. They are responsible, stable and serious individuals. Certainly some of you may know a Capricorn here or there in your Life who isn't responsible, stable and serious, but I personally can't think of any myself. Capricorn is all business and no monkey-business. It's nothing personal, just business.

Now since this is New Moon Capricorn is all about being useful, then you need to get a full handle on the energy. Notice how I 'used' the word 'useful'. The Capricorn motto is, "I use therefore I am." It is not . . . mis-use, dis-use, a-buse, over-use, under-use, no-use, re-use or use-less. The Capricorn motto is . . . use, useful, utilize, utilitarian, using, usable and user.

Now think about how can you put these useful words (use, useful, utilize, utilitarian, using, usable and user) to great use. Better yet, look at your personal Natal Chart to see which house is ruled by Capricorn so you can apply this new awareness to that house and especially where Capricorn would be at 00 degrees. The major perk of having a chart that I wrote for you is that you can call me and ask me to help you find it if you are confused and frustrated. Make it easy on yourself folks. Don't spend another year shuffling through natal chart papers not knowing where to look for these Goodies. My number is at the top of each page. I have a Capricorn Moon and I say, "Use the phone number!" There's that 'use' word again.

So listen, make certain you apply this strict disciplined energy to the house that is ruled by Capricorn for your Sun Sign and even moreso in the house that is ruled by Capricorn in your personal natal chart. Capricorn is strict and disciplined like a father delivering discipline and structure to a child. When you apply this kind of 'steady as a rock' approach, then it will set you up to anything else associated with it in a positive manner. Example -- 'If' your personal natal chart 6th house of health, fitness, hygiene, work ethic and daily routine is ruled by Capricorn, then get serious in this 6th house and get daily groovey on. And since the 6th house rules work ethic, then make certain you are on time and ready to rumble at work. If you have employees, then get the slackers on track with the new system.

This is a wonderful New Moon so very near the start of the New Year and if you choose not to get your 'groovey on' in the house indicated below (for your Sun Sign) then that is just outright laziness. Capricorn (the authority figure) does not like laziness, slothfulness or those who cannot show up on time and it will reprimand you. Remember, Capricorn is naturally ruled by the planet Saturn. Make USE of yourself. Become a utilitarian. Most of you already know that I have a natal Capricorn Moon and I am pretty tough, serious, self-disciplined and I'm an obvious workaholic. I'm a 'get your ass in gear' type of gal and I can't stand whining. Further, I am the biggest utilitarian I know. If I don't use it, then I give it away, sell it or toss it. If it isn't useful or functional, then I don't want it. I don't collect collectibles either because to me they are non-functional. I can't use collectibles. Now the opposite of the Capricorn Moon is the Cancer Moon and Cancer's absolutely LOVE collectibles. Also, Capricorn rules time, so this Capricorn energy is very aware of how time is 'used'. Also make use of the people that you know when you need advice, guidance, fun, assistance, etc. When it comes to this New Moon in Capricorn, you will either "Use it or lose it!"

So listen up folks, if you choose to be stable, prudent, practical, hard-working, responsible and self-limiting with this wonderful Capricorn energy, the Universe will reward you in kind. This is NOT the time to act like an idiot and run off the rails. Entering 2014 off the rails will take you months and I mean MONTHS to recover and right yourself. When you wake up on January 1, 2014 you want to be sober, aware and ready to get up without hitting the snooze button.

Today's New Moon creates a Stellium, which is four of more planets in the same sign and within 10 degrees of each other. We have the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Vesta, Pluto and Venus all within a few degrees of each other. Capricorn is the boss and manager of the zodiac. MANAGE YOURSELF!
