Mercury in Scorpio turns Retrograde (Rx) at 11:42 AM EDT until Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 2:12 PM EDT

This morning at 11:42 AM EDT Mercury in Scorpio turns Retrograde (Rx) until Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Mercury turns Retrograde (Rx) three (3) times per year and this is the last and final time for 2019. During Mercury Retrograde you advised to NOT make electrical, communicative or automobile purchases. Certainly you can make purchases, but its the electrical component that is the problem because the motor and the gadgetry is Mercury. Communication devices and automobile or transportation purchases that tend go haywire or flat-out turn into lemons. This includes home appliances, TVs, gadgetry, anything with a motor, small appliances, cars, garden tools, tablets, phones, can openers, blenders, etc . . do you get the picture. Invariabley someone will ask . . . what about a new dryer? What about a new dishwasher? LOL. Does it have a motor? Does it run on gadgetry or electricity? Remember the old push lawnmowers that just spun and didn't have a motor? Well you can buy that, but you can't buy the lawnmower with a motor.

Thank God Mercury Retrograde will end on November 20th, which is a whole nine (9) days before Black Friday, even though 'technically speaking' this Retrograde cycle will not end until December 7, 2019 because that is the date that Mercury will return to 27 degrees, which is the degrees that it is today, the day that Mercury turns Retrograde. So it would be best if you can wait to make your electrical, gadget and automobile purchases until after December 7th, but if you have to catch the mega-mondo-gigantic-out-this-world 12 foot by 12 foot theater TV purchase (insert sarcasm and exaggeration) on Black Friday, at least it will not result in the cluster-foul-up that it would if you purchased during Mercury Retrograde.

Some of your small appliances and larger appliances are going to stop working and you will just need to make-do until after Mercury turns Direct. Maybe you will be one who needs to learn a lesson in survival skills. Who knows?

I cannot tell you how many times I have advised people close to me not to make automobile purchases during Mercury Retrograde (but what do I know). I even had a friend who I hammered not to make the automobile purchase, this person did anyway and then traded in 'the lemon' two (2) Mercury Retrogrades later. No kidding!

Also, elective surgery is off limits as well because Mercury not only rules communication and transportation (Gemini, 3rd house) Mercury also rules (Virgo, 6th house) which is the house of physical health and doctors. Scorpio actually rules the surgeon and Mercury is in Scorpio Retrograde. So no elective surgery, meaning if you get to choose the dates, then don't choose during Mercury Retrograde. Of course if you have to have surgery and you don't get to choose the date, just make certain you remind the doctor, nurses and the team that you practice Astrology and you really need to make sure that their mind stays focused on YOU. Mercury rules the reasoning and logical mind. When it comes to healthcare, logic and reason go right out the window during Mercury Retrograde. This means bad decisions will be made.

Also, no buying things that require batteries and recharging with electricity. Also, do not purchase any 'new advertising' because Mercury rules sales, marketing and promotions. Certainly you can market and promote, as long as it does not cost you money, so that would be use your social media. Get things on sale! Look for sales . . . but nothing electrical, that needs batteries or transportation and that includes transportation (airline) tickets.

Now let's bring in the Scorpio component. This is very important because Scorpio is a money sign and rules the 8th house of other people's money. No one knows how to use other people's money to their own benefit more than a Scorpio. Why use your money when you can use other people's money. While Taurus (Scorpio's opposite sign) rules the 2nd house of personal finances, earned income, money that you make on your own, salary, morals and values . . Scorpio rules the 8th house of wealth of your spouse or business partner, insurance, legacies, other people's money, stocks, bonds, taxes, inheritances, wills, bonuses, financial windfalls, student loans, mortgages, treasure and waste (trash) that can turned into cold hard cash at a recycling center such as aluminum, copper and steel.

Taurus is the sign of MY money and Scorpio is the sign of OUR money. Scorpio says, "What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine and by the way, you're mine too!" Scorpio wants to own everything it has and make no payments on anything, and Scorpio might even threaten to own you. I'LL OWN YOU! No sign will bring a lawsuit upon someone else faster than a Scorpio. I'LL OWN YOU and your little dog too!

Having said all of that, it's important for you to recognize the FINANCIAL theme of this Retrograde. Certainly this is a time to detox, purge, debride and clear your space, but Scorpio does not do this without making money. It just doesn't. This Mercury Retrograde will cost you money (wasted money) if you do not keep your mind focused on money. We could go the sex route on this Mercury Retrograde as well because Scorpio rules the genitalia and sex, but Mercury is conjunct Venus in this Retrograde, which tells me that the Universe (God) is putting couples together to talk about MONEY!!! Get your financial sh--storm straight, as a couple! Make an agreement that does not require writing, but agreement that you aren't going to spend crazy amounts of money this holiday season on every single niece and nephew when you can't afford it.

Mercury conjunct Venus has the two (2) of you talking sweetly to each other and working it out. This aspect came into the 'orb of influence' yesterday, just in time for this Mercury Retrograde and after that cruddy energy that was exact on Monday. While everyone else is fighting and arguing and debating and disagreeing around you, how about the two (2) of you come together and make your peace and agreement and duality when it comes to money.

Scorpio is all about us, we and our . . not me myself and I. As the Spring begins in the sign of Aries and Taurus season, those two (2) signs are all about me, myself and I, for different reasons. We are SUPPOSED to learn about ourselves first, but this energy is not about me, myself and I, when the Fall rolls around during Libra and Scorpio season, the energy is all about us, we and our. This could not be more about you and you, coming to an agreement about your financial future.

So while this Mercury Retrograde should have the two (2) of you decluttering, clearing, purging and cleaning, it is for financial gain and prosperity. I know a couple who I went to high school with that bought a painting at a yard sale for one dollar ($1.00) and sold the painting for $250.00. That is no joke! She just posted about it yesterday. This is sooooooo Mercury in Scorpio.

As a couple, think MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY. Not alone, not separately, but together! This is a perfect time for you to come back together as a couple and get your financial story straight. Develop a game plan to take care of yourselves FIRST! Not spend all of your money on those who have no gratitude or when you simply cannot afford it. If you have money to burn, then fine, but that is not how Scorpio operates, AT ALL! Scorpio wants you to turn off the damn lights when you leave the room!

Look at that 11/11. What was happening back on October 11th at 11 degrees Scorpio that the Universe needs to take you back to that time period? On Wednesday, November 20th, when Mercury turns Direct, it will be at 11 degrees. Well will you look at that 11/11 again but now instead of it being the 11th day at 11 degrees, it is the 11th month at 11 degrees. The last time Mercury in Scorpio was at 11 degrees was on October 11th. So of course, we are looking at the 11/11 phenomenon here and what this 11/11 means for you.
