I began making posts about this amazing energy today on my DrStandleyAstrology Facebook Page on Wednesday, January 8th. I made a whole bunch of posts directing you to pay attention to the chart wheels posted on the January 2020 Astro Memes page. So many of you have been following up on these alerts. Yay! All of those posts, and pdf downloadable chart wheels and degrees and planets and aspects have probably been making your head swim and may have felt like an overload of circuits. Well yeah . . . the Sun has been conjunct Mercury in applying degrees since December 24, 2019 just before the Sun conjunct Jupiter and during that New Moon in Capricorn. It's been an overload of circuitry for a few weeks as you begin wrapping your mind around all of this energy and what this means for you. Am I right? This aspect loading your circuitry will last until January 25, 2020 so you have plenty of time to work through this, lay your chart out and lay these chart wheels over your chart to see where this impacts you. You also have plenty of time to book a phone reading with me if you need some direct guidance and finger pointing at your chart.

Also occurring today, Uranus in Taurus turns Direct, which has been in Retrograde motion since August 11, 2019. Uranus is a planet of action and is the higher octave of Mercury. Mercury rules the weather and Uranus takes that weather and KA-POW! changes it. We have been experiencing torrential rains here in the St. Louis area over the past couple of days. Thank God the temperature has been in the 50's or this would have been one helluva ice storm or blizzard. Wherever Taurus is in your chart, you can expect the unexpected when Uranus shows up because it carries with it a lightning bolt or two or three and will change the situation or circumstances in an instant. What was, isn't, and what wasn't, is now. Uranus is ready to stampede in the sign of Taurus make things happen. Uranus has been banging up against the stall door and is ready to kick up some dirt in the earth sign of Taurus. And get this . . . Taurus rules personal finances, earned income, your salary, your self-worth and what you say you are worth. So what are you worth? Have you been de-valuing yourself out of fear that someone else or others may not see your value. Well stop that! Taurus has a high value set and will not relent or give-in. They don't Taurus stubborn for nothin'.

The next three (3) aspects you see listed here are occurring on Sunday, January 12, 2020 but they are all impacting us right now because they are in 'applying degrees' meaning they are in approaching degrees. We can look in the rearview mirror and see these energies coming. That's what applying degrees are like. We know its coming and we can see it, not to mention we can feel it. Mercury conjunct Saturn has us calculating. We are calculating our money, our time, our projects, our work, our energy, everything! Mercury conjunct Saturn is so left brain that the creativity in us is pretty much set aside for now while we calculate what will be. We serious now and getting down to business, taking our pencil and erasing and penciling in something else. Some of you may be tapping your pencil as you think while in your brain over-load. Just because there is an over-load of circuitry does not mean you cannot handle it. You will handle it if you want to handle it and won't handle it if you don't. I say, "FREAKIN' HANDLE IT! THIS ISN'T KINDERGARTEN! HANDLE YOUR LIFE!" But then again, I'm a Moon in Capricorn, Saturn in Capricorn, shut up and get your Life together type of gal. This energy does not want to hear you sound like a baby, get it together or sit this one out!

Mercury conjunct Pluto is also occurring on Sunday, January 12, 2020 but is in 'applying degrees' as well. Just look in the rearview mirror of Life and you can see it coming. It's pretty much here. DO YOUR RESEARCH! Agent 007 has it plotted, planned, staked and calculated. Nothing gets past Special Agent 007 because he has experience and knowledge from all of his experiences and escapades in order to make his mission a success. There is no failure. Failure is NOT an option. There is Plan A and Plan B, which probably goes right back to Plan A because there is no Plan B because Plan A has been so well-thought-out. So while you might get a little dust on your shoulders, turn your check and blow the dust off and keep on moving. This energy makes you way too damn classy to be bothered by drama, feelings, crazy, time or distance. You are ON!

The 'piece de resistance' of this whole energy that we have been vibrating in and waiting for since January 11, 2019 (yep, a whole year ago) is Saturn Conjunct Pluto. This aspect has been screaming 'DISCIPLINED POWER' for an entire year, which I have been reminding you about here and there. And this aspect will last until January 31, 2021. Folks, that is two (2) full years to get your sh-- together! I'll be reminding you here and there all year (2020) again, as I did in 2019, that this energy will last until January 31, 2021. Those who have been on a rip to get their act together using 'disciplined power' since this time last year, will reap some incredible rewards. This isn't about cleaning out another closet. This is seriously getting a handle on your Life and letting the Universe know that you can and will handle your own power. If you want more money, have you been handling the money you do have well? If you want a better job, have you been handling yourself responsibly in the job you currently have or handling yourself responsibly while unemployed? What do you think the Universe thinks of how you have handled yourself. You do have time to turn it all around. Stop smoking! If drinking is causing you problems then you better engage in 'disciplined power'. Notice all the celebrities who have been falling from grace over the past year, there is a lot of Pluto in Capricorn there coupled with Saturn in Capricorn who have not been handling their power very well. They have been abusing their power. Watch and learn!

The Sun also conjuncts Pluto as it did last year on January 11, 2019. Read that link and you will see that I talked about the Sun conjunct Pluto and Saturn conjunct Pluto. The Sun conjunct Pluto is a powerful combination where you can literally hold the world in the palm of your hands. The Sun is huge, powerful and we depend on it for our survival. The Sun conjunct Pluto indicates an intense, obsessive and explosive energy that holds great deal of personal power. The word explosive can be taken as Good and bad extremes. It is very easy for this aspect to rid itself of the unwanted, as in a purge (people or things). If you do not want something, you will purge, detox and eliminate it without blinking an eye because that is how Pluto works and while in the sign of Capricorn, you will do it without a guilty bone in your body. Pluto is the planet of purge, detox and elimination. This also means that you may be intolerant of others who are not healthy for you and will begin purging people from your life. Transformation is the key factor with this placement. The Sun being identity and Pluto being able to penetrate multi-dimensions gives it a Universal appeal. This aspect is so powerful that it has a Divine Will or Divine connection to it. This aspect also carries a 'power complex' where you can get others to do what you want according to your will, which is known as a dictator. DO NOT DICTATE! It's unattractive and the Universe will smack you down! This energy needs to be channeled appropriately wherein everyone can benefit, not just you holding this energy and manipulating others to do your will. When this aspect transits your natal chart or Solar Return, look to the area of the chart to see where you can empower, repower, recreate, regenerate, reform and transform this area of your life and others.

And lastly during this Full Moon in Cancer, we are also experiencing the Sun conjunct Saturn where we are ready to break free from the chains that bind us. While you may think that someone has bound you, you may soon come to realize that you have bound yourself. Eleanor Roosevelt said, "No one walks on you without your permission." On your contribution or lack of particpation in your own Life and break the ties that bind.

Since Saturn is the planet of limitation and the Sun is the planet of identity, this conjunct puts limits on what you believe you can accomplish and messes with your identity. Saturn squeezes and restricts the personality and self-expression. It can also limit your ambition and goals. BUT, this conjunction can be really great because once you learn how to express yourself freely, then the ties that bind you are undone. In other words, you MUST LEARN to master self-limitation. This means restrict yourself where you need to be restricted and unrestrict yourself where you do not need to be restricted, which is in self-expression. This will make you a responsible, serious and reliable person. Get a handle on this energy and you will gain through hard work and through your career because this is where the actions of Saturn are expressed the most. SATURN LOVES A HARD WORKER! Work and a career will be important. There is the self discipline to succeed, which will lead to a fulfilling life.

So you see my little Astrotators, this Full Moon has a lot of support and wants you to get your act together and discipline yourself. Did you notice in the Downloadable 'Full Moon in Cancer' chart wheel that the South Node and Jupiter are conjunct at 08 degrees, the Sun and Mercury are conjunct at 20 degrees and Saturn and Pluto are conjunct at 22 degrees. Not to mention the Moon and the Sun are opposing each other creating this Full Moon at exactly 20 degrees.

The real meat of the Full Moon in Cancer is even though this Full Moon naturally rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities, the gift that it really has is the gift of intuition. While Pisces is THE MOST intuitive sign of the zodiac, Cancer is THE SECOND most intuitive sign of the zodiac. While Pisces THE MOST fearful sign of the zodiac, Cancer is THE SECOND most fearful sign of the zodiac. So you see, these two Sun Signs really feed off each other's intuition and fear. The great thing about this Full Moon is it is occurring during so many wonderful aspects. If you use this Full Moon's gift of intuition and trust your gut, then you will be miles ahead of where you would otherwise be. These emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities are intuition, "I feel therefore I am" but Cancer goes overboard and misses the gift. Cancer gets too wrapped up in their feelings and ends up sitting in emotions and martyrdom. When Cancer energy is channeled inappropriately then it shows up as crazy and emotionally whacked, but that's entirely up to you. The Moon in Cancer tends to take things personally when the subject wasn't about that at all. My advice is to trust your intuition. I don't care if everyone around you is on emotional overload and crying, you don't have to join them. If you play the emotional card, then YOU will have to play it out. But if you play the intuitive card, you will benefit because you are following 'the rules'. Stay on your own Full Moonbeam paying more attention to what it is shining on for you and what you set out to accomplish back on July 2, 2019 when the NEW MOON was in Cancer. This Full Moon is the fullness of that New Moon.

All too often the Moon in Cancer is misguided, mischanneled and misunderstood. There is no doubt about it, this lunar influence can make you look crazy. Once you start pouring energy into feelings like emotions and moods, then you have just lost the game and you will be easily trampled, infiltrated or just pouting in your own self-absorbed misery. If you need to dive into your feelings and help someone understand your emotions and moods then use the starter phrase, "I feel . . . " instead of saying, "You . . . " and just going into full-throttle crazy and accusing someone of not understanding you. Believe me, no one is going to understand you or want to listen to you in that state of being. This motto is really about intuition, "I feel therefore I am." Think of the keywords that go with "I feel therefore I am" -- intuition, intuitive, intuit, instinct, gut, sensitivity, sense, touch, premonition, hunch, knowing, unjustified proof, insight, etc. Need I go on? Can you see how you would literally squash your "I feel" if you go into full-blown crazy feelings.

The emotional problems with this Full Moon in Cancer Lunar Eclipse will show itself IF YOU DO NOT engage in 'disciplined power'. I cannot stress this enough. Just because you have power over someone with money, a place to live, a vehicle, etc., does not mean that you abuse that power and make that person feel less of a contributor or less than worthy. That's abuse of power. There is a lunar trine to Neptune in Pisces in the AM hours and then in the PM hours there will be three (3) lunar oppositions to Mercury, Saturn and Pluto. So, the biggest problem you have with this Full Moon is managing your own dang emotions. Capricorn is serious energy and crazy whacked emotions will not work with all of this other wonderful energy present in these other aspects. If you can hold your emotions together and stay focused on 'disciplined power', then I can assure you, Good things come to those who have the sh-- together.
