MOON OPPOSING PLUTO
This aspect depicts conflict which, when resolved, results in growth. Oppositions show a tug of war between opposing forces. If they are resolved, then the oppositions become the backbone and strength of the chart.
It is important to understand that the Moon rules the home and the family. It also rules the emotions, feelings, sensitivities and moods, while Pluto rules transformation through destruction, only to end up in reconstruction. Pluto is powerful and behaves like plutonium, where it completely destroys only to rebuild anew. Pluto levels one thing to cause something else to rise up out of the ashes, just like the phoenix-rising arises from the ashes. Pluto destructs in order to reconstruct and there is where the transformation takes place.
Well this is an interesting aspect when you take into account that the Moon rules home and family, while Pluto rules transformation, power and control. This aspect indicates a tendency to transform or remake someone. This could be directed at family or friends since many will see their friends as part of the family. Keep in mind this is a form of control coupled with intense emotion. We should remember that making someone to suit us makes them someone else and not who they really are. This energy looks very much like the control freak in a relationship who claims their jealousy and anger is Love, when it is anything but Love, it's jealousy and anger.
