The Aquarian Motto is, "I know therefore I am" and even though Aquarius is one of the three intellectual air signs (Aquarius, Gemini and Libra) this motto is not just about 'what you know' it's also about 'who you know'. Certainly Aquarius enjoys sharing knowledge and pouring their intellectual energy out into the world, which is best done in a group environment rather than in a one-on-one environment. All too easily forgotten is that Aquarius rules groups, friends, 'active' activities, participating in a group effort and connecting with friends more than a silly text, e-mail, tweet or Facebook post. That is hardly a 'connection'. This New Moon is about making a real connection where you are fully present or physically present in these group centered environments. This is a time when you should be calling the troops (friends) and helping you accomplish that which may prove to be difficult doing on your own. This is a time when you should be kickin' ass and taking names. While Aquarius certainly rules social media, then use this New Moon in Aquarius to further your purpose by reaching the masses. Those who you can make a personal connection with (friend or group) by way of physically showing up or through a phone call, then do it. Again, use social media to further your purpose . . I sure as heck do . . because I have Jupiter in Aquarius in my Natal Chart. It's not just what you know, it's who you know. I don't have to be hit over the head with that social media awareness (Jupiter in Aquarius) staring at me so boldy.

Folks, wherever you are stuck, paralyzed in fear or just don't know what the heck to do, call your friends or ask those with whom you are associated with in a group. As far as social media, use the awareness of 'furthering your purpose' then Tweet it out and ask for advice or pose the question somehow through social media. I sure wouldn't use social media to gain pity, show ignorance or run off the rails in a bitch-fest. WRONG! If you really feel the need to rant and can't help yourself, then you my dear little mentator need to get yourself an internet radio show.

Those of you starting a business, Venus in Capricorn is leaving its Retrograde status and going Direct tomorrow, Friday, January 31, 2014. But then from February 6 - 28, 2014 Mercury will be Retrograde and Jupiter in Cancer will not turn Direct from its Retrograde status until March 6, 2014. So if you are in the midst of starting a business, you will want to wait until after Jupiter turns Direct and possibly even wait a week or two until Jupiter begins picking up speed again. Retrograde planets are a bit like locomotives where it takes a little time for the wheels to start cranking again and choo-chooing forward again. Use this Aquarian New Moon to make connections with others -- friends, groups, associations, memberships, the masses, sororities, fraternities and organizations. Old friends and former Loves may even show up during this period of time for one reason or another but make no mistake, this does not mean you are besties again, nor does it mean you are soulmates and should sleep together again. Snap out of it!

Keep in mind that New Moon's set the tone for the next 12 months because there will not be another Aquarius New Moon until this time next year. A New Moon is when the Moon and the Sun are in the same sign and same degree and the next one is a year away. Aquarius rules the future, hopes and wishes. This New Moon in your 6th house of the daily grind tells me that something is certainly going to change in your daily routine. This 6th house rules your work, work ethic and those you work with such as employees and co-workers. The 10th house is your career or profession, while this 6th house has more to do with the routine of it. Well, something changes in this routine, which could mean your hours, salary or even the people with whom you work. This is reward. You could end up at a better paying job or the boss or manager of co-workers. As I so often remind you, the word 'tolerance' is a Virgo word. This has nothing to do with justice or injustice because that is Libra. The word 'tolerance' for Virgo is about you having more tolerance for others and remembering that everyone is different and on their own path, not yours. Trying to perfect or correct others will only get you in trouble. Tolerance my dear Virgo, tolerance. This awareness for others and where they are, will help you during this New Moon and should help you relate better to others.
