What a wonderful day for Mercury to turn Direct. Oh thank You God! First of all, Mercury in the sign of Pisces is in its detriment, which is basically inappropriate energy and shows up in the wrong time and the wrong place. There is a time and a place for everything and this placement of Mercury in Pisces is just 'out of place'. Folks, its a fish out of water! Not only that, Mercury in Pisces has been squaring Jupiter in Gemini, which is another placement in its detriment. Today the Moon is in Gemini, which is naturally ruled by Mercury, which has been 'out of place'. Okay, now we are getting somewhere with Mercury turning Direct, so it can move along and stop squaring Jupiter. As a South Node Pisces and a Gemini with all of this energy taking shape, you may have noticed that I have not been overworking myself. I have not nearly pushed myself because I wouldn't dare deliberately wear myself out during this energy. I'm just moving along at a steady pace without stressing myself in the least. Certainly there may be some unhappy with my pace right now but that's okay, they'll get over it. (winky wink)

Mercury Retrograde in Pisces goes direct today at 4:03 PM EDT. If you notice from the blue planetary box below (not seen on the mobile website) there is an "S" after Mercury. Yesterday there was an "Rx". The "S" stands for 'stationary' and the "Rx" stands for 'retrograde'. Before a planet turns Retrograde and before it turns Direct there is always a stationary period of time. What that means is it literally has to stop, so it can shift gears from reverse to drive, just like you do when you drive a car. You can't shift gears from reverse to drive while in motion, you literally have to stop and become 'stationary'. That's what the energy is doing right now until 4:03 PM EDT today and then Mercury will begin moving forward in degrees again.

Mercury moves out of its shadow on April 5, 2013 which means it returns back to the same degree it was on the day it went retrograde (19 degrees) and it will be back to its old self. In the meantime, up until April 5, 2013 you may feel as though Mercury is still Retrograde. This is because Mercury has to pick up speed again (acceleration) and begin cranking itself forward again much like the wheels on a locomotive. It takes a bit for those wheels to start cranking the other way again. So until Mercury builds up in degrees again and gets back to the degrees it was at on the day it went retrograde, which is 19 degrees, until that time it is considered 'in its shadow'. Having said all of that, probably until April 5, 2013 you may feel as though Mercury is still retrograde. I'm in the market for a new phone, so I will be waiting until Mercury is 'out of it's shadow' which is April 5, 2013.
