The Moon in Scorpio is moving through your 1st house of identity and how other's see you. This house also rules the personality, your attitude, how you see the world, how you look, appearances, your worldly outlook, and self-awareness and how you respond. It includes the self, ego, anima, projected image, expression of inner motivation, soul purpose, initial approach to life and your aura. No one probably believes in themselves more than a Scorpio. It is truly Scorpio's desires that run their engine. Further, Scorpio isn't really interested in anything that they don't desire. Scorpio either Loves it or hates it, there is no in-between. If Scorpio wants something, believe me, they will get it come hell or high water. Again, it is their desire that runs their engine. Have you ever heard that a Scorpio will either do something or die trying? That's pretty much true. When I watch my Scorpion King do something, there is no doubt in my mind that he will make it happen. His will be done. Now, for the aspects I want you to be turned into today. When you see a 'trine' that means easy and effortless energy. A 'conjunction' emphasizes and brings together the energies of the planets involved because they are in the same sign and same degree. This is an interesting day with the Scorpio Moon because it involves a trine to Jupiter in Cancer and a conjunction to Saturn in Scorpio, while still maintaining a trine to Jupiter. The Moon rules the moods, emotions, feelings and sensitivities. Jupiter is lucky, enthusiastic, happy, adventurous and optimistic. Saturn is responsible, limiting, disciplined and stable. Jupiter expands and Saturn limits. See how strange that is? The emotions are expanded and they are limited.

When the Moon trines Jupiter it creates an engaging and big-hearted individual. The Moon trine Jupiter brings out confidence, enthusiasm and optimism. The Moon will also conjunct Saturn emphasizing a more limited sense of self. This can actually make you withdrawal and become rather shy and retiring. Saturn is a very cold planet, so when it is conjuncts the Moon, the emotions are a bit cold due to a lack of warmth. So we actually go from an over-confidence with the Moon trine Jupiter to a lack of confidence with the Moon conjunct Saturn. It's not really bad energy, it's just different. Someone may say to you or you may say to someone else, "What's wrong? You seemed great this morning and tonight it seems like something is wrong." Nothing has to be wrong, it's just a more mellow, serious and mature energy as the day grows along. Yet, it can also come across as very shy and reserved. This can make you rather timid in the company of other people. If you vacillate between confidence and lack of confidence today, now you will know why.

This conjunction could cause you to do things to over-compensate (Moon trine Jupiter) for a lack of confidence (Moon conjunct Saturn) . . talk more, drink more, eat more, etc. This can make you the Life of the party when you would have otherwise said nothing. Just be aware that this energy is present and why your energy may have turned more mature, reserved and serious as the day grows along or if you are doing something to over-compensate for a lack of confidence.
