The Cancer Moon is trine (easy and effortless energy) your 9th house of the higher-thinking mind, religion, college, higher education, legalities, brothers and sisters-in-law, philosophy, prophecy, philanthropy, all things "foreign", intuition, long distance journeys abroad, churches, airlines, vacations, international commerce, dreams, visions and teachers.

It's time for wonderful new adventure, experiences and higher-learning. This 9th house is naturally ruled by Sagittarius, which has an optimistic and jovial outlook. In the late evening hours of August 29, 2012 the North and South Node will move out of Sagittarius and Gemini into Scorpio and Taurus until February 18, 2014. The North Node basically means "my cup runneth over" and the South Node basically means "the bottomless pit" or the "drain". Take a peek at the North and South Node Calendar to see when the last time the North Node was in Scorpio and the South Node was in Taurus so that you can look back and see your pattern of behavior. Then you will have insight into how this energy shows up for you and how you can make the most of it this time around.

Also, come October 5, 2012 Saturn will move out of fair-minded and companion-focused Libra and into efficent and resourceful Scorpio. Saturn will remain in Scorpio until December 23, 2014. It will then move into Sagittarius from December 23, 2014 until June 14, 2015 but then will Retrograde back into Scorpio from June 14, 2015 until September 17, 2015. So folks, we are looking at just shy of 3 years before Saturn in Scorpio is through with us. Saturn in Scorpio does not take a hard time from anyone. In fact, those who want to cop an attitude during this time will find themselves on the outside. This is some high intensity focus! In business this is shrewd and often times ruthless, although keep in mind that does not mean that someone is doing something wrong. Shrewd and ruthless can easily mean that the buck stops here and the handouts are OVER! I happen to LOVE this energy because the lazy and inefficent will finally have to get their act together or just be left behind with no excuses, only hindsight that is 20/20. This energy can be incredibly obsessive, especially when it lands in the house of your natal chart that is ruled by Scorpio.
