The Moon in Taurus is moving through your 3rd house of communication, writing, mental abilities, lower education from 1st to 12th grade, early learning, immediate environment, short journeys, local travel and travel within your own country. It also rules neighbors, siblings and extended siblings such as cousins, nieces and nephews.

The big news today is we are dealing with a major case of brain fry, burnout and our mental circuits overloaded as the Sun in Libra conjuncts Mercury in Libra. Libra is an air sign, which is one of the three intellectual signs (Libra, Gemini and Aquarius), so to have the mental wires sizzled can make us mentally fed up. The brain can only take so much before it goes "bzzzzzzzzz" and wants to shut down. As a Gemini I experienced the 'applying aspect' of this conjunction on Tuesday when I was so incredibly bored with writing Daily Horoscopes that I needed to change my approach so that I didn't just shut down and refuse to do it or worse, become a slacker. When Mercury and the Sun are within 04 degrees of each other, then this crossing of wires literally gets FRIED! At precisely 10:38 AM EDT the Sun and Mercury will both be at 07 degrees. BZZZZZZ, all circuits are dead! On Tuesday, the Sun was at 06 degrees and Mercury was at 08 degrees and I was really feeling them only 02 degrees apart. Today, they are both at 07 degrees (as you can see from the Daily Astrology Chart Wheel and frying the brain to a crispy critter status.

The Good news is this conjunction, when used appropriately, can feed your intuition like none other. So instead of just turning into a slacker yesterday, I followed my intuition and made some changes that would snap me out of Gemini boredom and cosmic brain fry, causing me to become even more interested in my daily writings and making them better. Yesterday I jumped on the recognition of what was going on and decided to write horoscopes more in line with the aspects that I list below each day, rather than only which sign the Moon is in. Daily Horoscopes are still written according to the Moon (as they should be) but they will now incorporate the additional awareness of the aspects involved. Yay for me! Yay for you! Yay for us! See what this 'us, we and our' Libra energy does for everyone involved?

Interestingly enough, even though this day is overloaded with brain fry and burnout by the Sun sizzing Mercury's mental wires, it is also accompanied by 2 trines and 1 sextile.

The day begins with the Moon in Taurus sextile Neptune in Pisces, which brings out your comical and theatrical side. Pisces is always in the mood for Love but today the Love is more brotherly or neighborly than romantic. No one tells a better or bigger fish story than you and it will be your humor that saves the day. As the Moon in Taurus meanders along and trines Jupiter in Virgo, it will turn from brotherly and neighborly Love to romantic and relationship Love. Again, it will be your humor that schmoozes everything over and puts all back on the right track. The Sun in Libra conjunct Mercury in Libra may have you completely burned out when it comes to financial paperwork, taxes, wills or other important documentation. It can be overwhelming and just too much that you don't even want to look at another piece of paper. You will probably feel this conjunction until Saturday, October 4th, 2015 as the residual sizzle begins to cool down. Dodge all of the paperwork and do something else until this aspect passes. Focus on Love and being more Loving with those you Love. Later in the day the Moon in Taurus will trine Pluto in Capricorn tying together your communication with friends. You may go for a drive and drop in on friends or friends may be going for a drive and dropping in on you.
