Greetings from Cherokee, NC -- This past Saturday night I decided to head out early Sunday morning to go back home to Cherokee, NC to see my Poppy Seed (dad) for Father's Day. I cut out about 4:30 AM Sunday morning and drove 10 hours from St. Louis, MO to Cherokee, NC. I do hold residence in both Cherokee and St. Louis so this is not a vacation because I work whether I am at home in St. Louis or at home in Cherokee. Yesterday (Sunday the 16th), I just decided to take the whole day off.
