Today the Moon moves out of Libra and into Scorpio at 9:13 PM EDT, but before it does that, it will form three (3) different aspects. The first being a square to Pluto at 2:43 AM EDT, then a sextile to Mercury at 5:54 AM EDT and lastly a square to the Sun at 3:52 PM EDT. Keep in mind that all lunar aspects do have a 12 to 14 hour 'orb of influence' before and after their exactness, which means these aspects are overlapping each other in energy. Not to mention we are experiencing a Void of Course Moon as the Moon makes its way out of one sign and into another sign, but if you have the 2018 Void of Course Moon Calendar, then you already knew this.
When the Moon squares Pluto, this creates emotional action and emotional over-reaction that we can just dub as, "DRAMAAAAA!" This is exactly the kind of energy that makes you wake-up ready to slap someone, which is also known as 'emotional control'. When we get louder when we are angry, then we are either trying to be heard or we are trying to control someone with our emotions. Keep in mind, this energy can turn volatile where slamming doors and broken coffee cups lay on the kitchen floor. Isn't it a little too early in the morning to be acting this way? Well you can blame it on this square or you can tell yourself that you will not act this way because I have posted this page several days in advance, which means you should have been prepared for it. This aspect is an emotional burden, so if you can channel energy into a creative pursuit or just shut the hell up until this aspect passes, that would be great and it might save you an apology tomorrow. Either choice will suffice.
The second aspect is the Moon sextiles Mercury, which can calm this first aspect since it is overlapping during the 'orb of influence'. This makes it a perfect time to pay more attention to your health, appearance, personal hygiene and level of fitness. Perhaps you are thinking about hitting the gym again or going back to your exercise classes. Well, there is no time like the present. The Moon sextile Mercury is also the classic placement of the 'neat freak'. Perhaps you could channel the first aspect into this one and start cleaning and organizing before you bite anyone's head off this morning. This aspect can communicate quite well, but there is still the issue of the first aspect, so monitor and choose your words carefully.
The third aspect ends the day with a thud as the Moon squares the Sun and causes our emotions and disposition to sink. It's as if the Sun and the Moon are going down together at the end of the day. Dun dun dun! This square is super-similar to the Moon square Saturn that we experienced two days ago on Tuesday, July 17th. This aspect reminds us of some parental unattractive energy that we may have taken on as our own. Meaning, now we are acting like our parents in the ways that weren't pleasing or desirable. We might call out to the one we Love, "Stop acting like your dad!" or "Your acting like my mom!" I would NOT advise talking that way to the one you Love under this aspect. There may be bruises from rocks thrown on Tuesday night, so do not use this aspect as a weapon. You will regret it in the morning. You can be assertive with the one you Love without challenging them to a dual. This aspect pushes you to choose your own way in life, following neither the mother or the father. You must find your way of responding to challenges without acting like your parents.
