The Gemini Moon is moving through your 12th house of the hidden realm, subconscious, past, pain, karma, jails, institutions, hospitals, finances of friends, secret sorrows, fears, self-destruction, large animals, skeletons in closet, self-undoing and self-injury. It is about your hidden strengths, weaknesses and what you don't want others to see or know about you, unredeemed karma and selfless service to humanity. We begin the day with the Moon in Gemini, turning Void of Course at 27 degrees at 9:21 AM EDT. At 3:25 PM EDT the Moon will enter Cancer at 00 degrees and will reach the 03 degree mark (leaving the Void of Course time period) at 9:29 PM EDT. Well that's a full-blown 12 hours of delays, false starts and unexpected delays. We leave a 'thinking moon' and enter an 'emotional moon'. Over the past two days you learned about the Gemini Moon and the keywords of thoughtful, thought, think, thinker, mind, mentate, mental, reasoning, logic, consider and contemplative. This afternoon the keywords turn to emotional, moody, feeling, intuitive, intuition, tempermental, sentimental sensitive and sentient. See the difference in how these words change. Gemini is all in their mind and Cancer is all in the feelings. Folks, when you understand the difference between the Moons it will be able to make the transition and how you should channel the energy.

Going from 'thinking' to 'feeling' today is enough to get anyone rattled and a bit off kilter. Remember the 'Karate Kid' -- Wax on, wax off! In other words, handle it by channeling it. I'm a science girl and I like to think of the changing energy of the Moons like one of most basic laws of science, which is the Law of the Conservation of Energy. This Law states: Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another. Let's think of water and it changes from one form to another. Water evaporates into a vapor. Water can freeze into a mass and become ice. Ice can melt and change into water. Water just rolls with the punches and so should you. So during this Void of Course Moon, use the knowledge you learned over the past two days and now 'wax on, wax off' and handle it. Roll with it and move out of your logical and reasoning self and into your feeling and sentient self.

Now here is the warning shot I need to fire. The Moon naturally rules Cancer and all too often this Moon can act and react moody, over-emotional and over-sensitive, especially as it makes its transition from Gemini into Cancer. Just simmer down! Use the Cancer Moon this afternoon and over the next couple of days to enhance and tap into your intuition (feelings) and not emotional (feelings). Certainly emotions have an element of intuition but I'm talking about whacked emotional craziness and taking intuition into account at all.

This Cancer Moon this afternoon leading us up to this square between Venus and Mars could be tough on relationships because this is estrogen vs. testosterone. Even more, it's like Scorpio is squaring itself. A square is when there are two signs that separate two other signs. In this case we have Scorpio and Leo in a square, which means Virgo and Libra are the two signs separating them. A square is a challenge. Mars just so happens to be the ancient ruler of Scorpio but Mars is in Leo right now, and Scorpio squares Leo. So not only is Venus squaring Leo but the Mars placement in Leo is like Mars squaring Scorpio. It reminds me of the male Cardinal bird who pecks at his reflection in the window thinking that he's attacking another bird and he's only hurting himself. I see this Venus and Mars square an issue that is more testosterone in nature than it is estrogen. I think the men will have a tougher time with this square than the women. Sadly, the women will do what they do and will likely act out more emotionally to men's actions. Ladies, put a muzzle on it and just shut the hell up! If you act out and match his actions, then you will give him a reason to call you crazy, even if he is the one who started it. Now this will not be the case in all cases, but I'll bet it is more on the men who are picking fights during this square. You may even be feeling it as we get closer to Saturday, September 28, 2013 just two days away. There may be more men who seem like they are on the 'Moon' (menses, period) that it will seem like women are. LOL! For those of you in same sex relationships, the individual who carries more estrogen will take on the female role and the one more carries more testosterone will take on the male role.
